Our house is a shoe-free zone and I am usually walking around in my socks when I'm home. Since we have hardwood floors throughout, there isn't a whole lot of grip to rely on and it's easy for my feet to slip on the slick floors. I decided to try some grip socks to correct that but quickly learned that not all grip socks are created equal. The first brand I purchased had good reviews but they were rather thin and had very little grip. Worse, grippy stuff on the bottom just disappeared after 3 or 4 washings, which pretty much defeated the purpose of wearing them. I left an appropriate review of those socks ("Useless"), then tried again with a pair of Gripjoy socks. This time I hit the jackpot. They are and well made, with a full-bodied fabric and a large grip area. And they have now survived quite a few washings without any effect on the grippy substance on the bottom. Perfect. I liked them so much I bought two more packs, but the ones I received were much longer, going well up & over my calves. Rather than go through Amazon, I sent a note to the seller about the discrepancy and she responded in less that three hours. It turns out Amazon sent me the wrong size in the original order. I ordered the large size, but the ones I was wearing were the small/medium size. They are really quite different: The short/medium socks are 12" long and the large are 16". The seller quickly figured out what had gone wrong and immediately sent me two packs of the small/medium socks. So it's all good now, but I did learn something about the socks I want to pass on to you. The photo shows the small/medium size, but the size you order defaults to large. If you want really long socks, that's fine, but if you want socks like you see in the photo (what I think of as "regular socks" rather than "calf-length"), change the order to small/medium. They are plenty big for most feet. Mine are size 10 and they are a perfect fit. Oh, and the socks work great. They have really good grip, yet look and feel like regular socks. So this seller wins my highest praise: five stars for a great product, and five stars for perfect service. UPDATE 10/13/25 -- Years later, these are the only socks I ever wear. I can't praise them highly enough. Early on, I did wonder about longevity given the bonding of the ribbing the the fabric. But I can tell you for certain that they last. I'm just now replacing the ones I purchased years ago!

I purchased these “Grip-Joy Anti-Slip Sock”. The quality is wonderful, especially the rubber safety grips on the bottom. They are so well-made and match the sock colors perfectly, making them wonderful for staying safe on tile or wood floors. I adore these socks . . . they are incredibly cozy, soft, and warm. They are a dream to wear! These socks have several vibrant colors to choose from and I have mostly all of them. Even after a year of washing them in cold water and air-drying, they are still holding up wonderfully. For reference, I wear a size 8½ shoe and the large fits beautifully. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for excellent quality and comfort in a non-slip sock!

These Gripjoy non-slip socks are a game changer! I bought the 3-pair pack and couldn't be happier. The fit is just right—not too tight but snug enough to stay in place. The grips on the bottom are excellent and make walking on hardwood floors or tiles feel so much safer. 5 stars for good grip, but downgraded for dullness. They keep your feet from sliding. It would be nice, however, if they made some fun colors. These look like my grandfather's hunting socks. They are narrow at the ankle. They leave marks, so i've had to make a little snip in the top.

I needed these grip-sole socks because of house training a puppy. I knew I'd have to be up in the middle of the night, running down the stairs carrying a crate with the dog inside and I didn't want to slip on the stairs. These socks work so much better than the other pair I bought in a shop. They fit perfectly and it's impossible to slip wearing them. They wash well and they're perfectly comfortable. I like them SO much I ordered another three pair so now I have six. Highly recommended !

These are as advertised. I have bought them in the past and am very pleased with them. They are rugged and long wearing.

Just what my elderly mother needed! They provide excellent grip out of the bag. Would have like an option for a larger size as she feels they are a bit too snug. She has severe neuropathy pain in her feet and legs and would prefer a larger fit. Will have to wait and see how the grip holds up after a few washings. Overall a well made product.

Purchased for elderly mother so she could walk safely with her walker. They are just amazing , great grip with the chevron design on bottom of sock. They stay up wonderfully without being to tight ( very important on elderlys legs). So pleased with this purchase!
