Hawkins Futura 26 cm Flat Tava, Non Stick Tawa with Stainless Steel Handle, Induction Tawa with Rim, Pancake Pan, Flat Pan, Black (INFT26)

This is a very nice heavyweight griddle that I bought for my induction cooktop. Hard to find a lot of nonstick cookware that works with induction. It's a good size pan with sides that are low enough to easily turn items such as crepes and pancakes. I can make three medium sized pancakes or two mickey mouse pancakes (kid favorite) with no problem. It's has a larger cooking surface than my larger skillet (8"? shown in photo at bottom, top pan is the griddle) Heating is even. Handle is strange because it sticks up, but it simply gets turned out of the way like the rest of the cookware handles.

This tawa is a versatile tool that is perfect for an induction cooktop. Omelettes with room for bacon on the side fit this skillet. Pancakes brown evenly and cook quickly. It should be ideal for cooking Indian food like nan and roti. It heats quickly and evenly, and is very responsive to the instant changes in cooking temperature possible with induction cooking. Using medium heat is best to avoid damage to the non-stick coating. It is also very easy to clean and needs no seasoning to maintain its non-stick coating. This one is a keeper!

I've had this pan for about 2 weeks now, and I've used it 3 times. When I purchased it I was under the impression it was dishwasher safe, but according to the instructions it is not. It's a fine griddle and works well. It is small, but the size is clearly described. You'll get two pancakes on it at a time if you're lucky. The handle stays nice and cool, and the pan is nice and flat and heats evenly on my induction cooktop.

Ruined in a matter of 5 months. The oil got stuck and the coating looks completely burned

The best pan ever! For some reason the seller chose to attach a picture of the pan that is upside down. It really works on my portable induction plate stove. Nice and heavy, washes well and a great value for the money. Very hard to find, I plan on buying a second pan to keep for the future.

Bought this for making dosas at home. We have an induction cooktop so finding good non-stick pans that are really flat on the bottom and heavy enough to not warp is not easy. This pan is all of that and more!

Love this pan! I wanted a pan just to make rotis and parathas on an electric stove and this is working great for that purpose. I don’t cook anything else on it. Gets hot enough which is necessary, and nonstick is fabulous! You need to crank up the heat though otherwise it’ll still get the job done, does a good job on prepackaged parathas on less heat but will take longer. Made Parathas from dough on it and they fluffed up just like they would on a gas stove. Haven’t tried making roti from scratch on it yet. Have had it for a little over a month now and no issues thus far.

Brilliant, induction friendly, easy to use and clean and comes with a little recipe booklet.

Absolute saver and value for money. We bought this, and in a household where Dosa is a necessity, this has been our savior. Easy to make, and very easy to clean, and barely we have issues with burning or anything. Nice product, and very good quality. Thickness also seems to be right for how the heat distribution is really coming out well.

I got this to cook pizzas in the oven under the grill using the method as researched by Heston Blumenthal. Have used the plain aluminium dished version and it works great 3-4 minutes. I put the pizza on the tava on the gas burner while loading up toppings. Plain hard anodised flat version tava would be best for this. The non-stick version is still made of hard anodised aluminium, so if the non-stick surface comes off under the grill, I am not complaining. All metal handle goes fine in the oven under the grill. Non-stick presumably teflon-based doesn't like high heat. The instructions are very clear on not using high heat. Complaints by people giving low ratings due to separation of the base or non-stick coating damage are probably using high heat. If you really want to use high heat, get a plain hard anodised aluminium version which has a 5-year warranty and is approved for high heat.
