So this is the weedkiller I didn't know I needed until recently. Like many, I have been buying the big brand name for years believing they were the most effective that non-professional users could buy. These products, often with acetic acid (vinegar) as their active ingredient, always looked impressive. Within hours of application the weeds started to wilt and contort - surely in their death throes? But after a few days, the weeds just started recovering. Sure, they might have lost a few leaves but new, green growth starts to show and the weeds just keep on coming. Gallup Glyphosate couldn't be more different. I mixed it with water in a garden sprayer exactly to the directions on the bottle - there is absolutely no need to try and make it stronger by using less water as recommended by at least one other reviewer. There were a few dandelions in my kill zone so I picked off the flowers before I sprayed to avoid attracting pollinators which could have been harmed. Application is quick and easy. Just wet the leaves with a quick spray, preferably on a sunny day so the solution dries quickly and it is safe for children and animals to use the treated area. After a week, the results are initially disappointing. I honestly couldn't see any indication that it was working and started wondering had I wasted my money again? But then, about day 10 I noticed some of the grasses were reacting. It looked like they were growing too quickly and the blades were starting to curl and curve. From then on, the results were remarkable. Every weed just wilted, turned brown and died. After four weeks the process was over. Not a speck of green remained on my driveway and other treated areas. Even a troublesome ivy which has defied previous attacks and savage pruning finally succumbed to the inevitable. Very impressed with this product. I will definitely buy it again but probably won't have to for a while as I still have more than half a bottle left.

As weedkiller goes, this one works. It turned all.my weeds brown in about 3 days. I have tried off the shelf branded sprays and they were nowhere near as good.

The product is very effective, requires a bit of patience, but after couple of applications an area is clear for a few months. this is my second purchase, and I was dissapointed there were no dilution instructions on the label - as it is for residential use (not professional) I was surprised at this. also the advertised measuring cup was not in the delivery.

The cup was broken on receipt but the product is good and has done away with lots of weeds growing up through a path of slate chippings, though some other areas may need going over again as it rained after use. You only need about 50ml per 2 ltrs of water in your sprayer so it goes a long way. So far much better than others I've tried, including one without glyphosate which didn't do much at all, unfortuantely.

We have a large brick driveway and have used the pre mixed sprays historically, but they were expensive and weee hit and miss. This has been an eye opener. It’ll last for years based on how much is needed and if you’re patient, within 10-14 days the weeds are gone. Won’t be going back! I reckon one spray per summer will do the job.

Wow, at first i was really disappointed with the item as after as after a few days not much happened. But after waiting a few more days it killed EVERYTHING. Really happy with the results. From one bottle you get a lot of area. Really happy with the price and the product

Update: This took a good few weeks to work - not like the normal spray it on and the weeds are dead almost immediately (but always return). It looks like they are gone for good, which is what we all want. So ignore my first impression below. I will be happy to buy this again! So far it's a total waste of money! Used it a week ago - all weeds thriving.....not a single weed looking like it might give up. Worst weedkiller I've ever bought. Happy to change this review if things change over the next week but not holding my breath!
