ARMA 3 (PC DVD)

I bought this game instead of pre ordering bf4 which I now know was a big mistake because even with my amd fx8350, and I appreciate that the game isn't made for these processors, overclocked to 4.334ghz and an gigabyte amd radeon hd 7970 3gb I only get a maximum of 40 fps on 720p with minimal settings which goes down to around 20 when looking out over a large view or any time on multiplayer. Using msi afterburner and HWmonitor I found that the optimisation is so bad that it is only using 30% of my GPUs potential and at most 80% of my CPUs.For these reasons of course my rating for how fun the game is has gone down because it isn't really playable in my opinion (60+ fps needed)however some of the showcases do bring some good tactics into play and the way that soldiers react to bullets and different situations is believable so my overall game rating has gone up slightly.Still very disappointed and I hope that bohemia sort out their game's optimisation before you buy a copy.

A rare example of no-nonsense simulation. "As close to war as you'll ever want to get", indeed. Have been playing this part of the series for three years now, and still not bored because the replayability is boundless.

Apart from good gameplay, I wasted £40 on this crap to get banned 3 weeks later for 'Hacking' when I picked up someones gun, so I cannot play any battleye games not, don't buy it!
