Front Bowtie Overlay Decal Sticker - 2010-2013 Camaro - (Color: Gloss Red)

Perfect fit, easy to install dry. I cleaned with eather ( starting fluid ) after a short wetsand with 500 grit (car is ceramic coated). Gently pealed off backing be sure to not strech viynl lined up top right and left corners then pressed the top and worked down from center and out from there. Used thumbnail on edges. Took 5 minutes to do both. Doing small solid decals i do dry...tint or wraps on curved window is only time to use soapy water / heat if you want best results and adhesion. Matte black front and metallic ice color matching rear, very happy over the gold gm used

Smooth lines, easy to apply

It looks great, but was pretty hard to put on. It didn’t seem to be exactly the right size, but it was also the first time for me to use a vinyl like that, so I probably stretched it too much when installing it.

I have a 2SS/RS Convertible, Red Jewel Tintcoat and all of my accents are black (rally stripes, shark gills, etc). I found this product easy to use if you follow the instructions. I am no decal expert but you need to be patient and work carefully. The product is excellent and there are professionals that can help you apply if you are not skilled. 1. Perform this procedure on a warm day or have a blow drier available to heat the decal before application. 1. Spray the car bowtie and remove backing from decal. Spray the decal backing with water. This will allow you to reposition the decal if not perfectly aligned. 2. Align the center of the bowtie and attach the center only, leaving the two sides dangling. 3. Working from the center, press outward to the left edge, making sure there are no creases and minimizing bubbles. You will always get bubbles and this can be fixed later. 4. Once the left side is done, repeat for the right side. 5. You will see bubbles. Apply your blow drier to heat up the decal surface, then push the bubbles to the edge or break them up as best you can. I recommend you come back in 48 hours to fix the remaining bubbles. 6. Fast forward 48 hours later. Use a pin to prick a hole in the bubbles and force the air out. No worries, you can not see the pin pricks. Voila, you have a very nice look at a reasonable price!

This decal does not fit properly, even if you stringently follow the directions. It is not "domed shaped" like the bowtie, so no matter how you apply it, right to left, left to right, or center out....you will get wrinkles in the middle of the material, which makes it look like crap! I take my car to car shows and just need a better product....I need one that looks like it is factory made, and this is just not it.

I really like the color and how it came out however, it does take LOTS of patience AND skill to get this on. It took me about 20mins alone and it was not cut perfectly, I was able to stretch some parts lightly to get it fit and other parts were to long. The parts that were long I used a box cutter to remove the excess off, but it did come out lovely and lucky me I got it on my first try so now I have an extra! It’s a good product but if your looking for easy installation this is not for you.
