Absolutely Gorgeous! Delivery could be a problem
These orchids were stunning. Hands down, exactly what I wanted for my wedding. My ONLY issue was the delivery, which could have ruined everything. I specifically ordered this particular bunch because of the delivery date being two days before my wedding. I figured that was the perfect amount of time for me to make my bouquets. The flowers arrived a day early, and they were sent to a UPS store. I don’t know if this is something the merchant should communicate, or if it’s something controlled by Amazon. When they said they were delivered it showed my home on the map and listed “delivered” in another town. The ups store is in yet a different town. The ups store unfortunately didn’t have working air conditioning that day, and my flowers were sitting there for five and a half hours. Thank goodness they had water tubes, but the merchant states open immediately upon delivery and follow the care instructions. I did lose two or three stems immediately which was unfortunate. The vases aren’t anything special, but what you are really paying for are the blooms. They’re breathtaking. You will get some dye on your hands when you first remove the tubes and trim the bottoms, but I had no problem after that. I kept them in my fridge in water for two nights before I made my bouquets, and then I kept them hydrated up until it was time for the wedding. If you want to preserve them they do dry out nicely in craft silica.
