Design Meets Function - Great Vacuum Cleaner
After saying my final goodbye to a 20 year old vacuum, and as a trained product designer I searched high and low for a vacuum that fits my needs - high performance, easy to handle and small enough to store in an apartment. I was delighted to open the box and experience the powerful suction of this vacuum cleaner, its so strong even dust a few inches away is cleaned up. Every tiny detail in this product is thought out, its is very intuitive and easy to use. Kudos to Eureka for really promising your brand values in this product - it is excellent, well made and affordable.

Lightweight, powerful, and easy to use
This Eureka vacuum cleaner is lightweight, powerful, and very easy to use. It picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair effectively on both carpets and hard floors. The 2.5L dust container is a great size and easy to empty, making cleaning more convenient. I like how easy it is to move around furniture and carry from room to room. The suction power is impressive for its size, and it works great for everyday cleaning. Most importantly, it saves time and effort while keeping the house clean, making it a great value for the price.

Great suction
Suction is terrific; lightweight and easy to use. I like it except for a few things. The "crevice" tool is too big for crevices - it's round and the bristles are not soft so can easily scratch services. Also, the suction actually sucked in some of the bristles on our vacuum the second time we used it! They are also hard to clean! The other bummer is no tool attachments. I thought I would be able to use the varied tools from our bagless canister that broke (after 20 yrs!!), but they don't - there is no adapter - still trying figure that out. So just be sure that you don't need to use other tools with it. Cleans our bare wood, tile, and throw rugs thoroughly. It works very well and the price was right at the time.

Eureka WhirlWind vs Bissell Zing
I very rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so today after using the Eureka WhirlWind that was delivered today from Amazon. Yesterday when ordering this machine after my 3-year old Bissell Zing finally bit the dust with the smell of burning plastic and loss of almost all suction, I was looking for a review like THIS ONE to let me know if I should buy the same Bissell Zing again (the devil you know) or try this Eureka WhirlWind out (the devil you don’t). For those looking for a fast answer, I will tell you right now, the Eureka WhirlWind won by a mile. This is a far superior machine and comparatively priced. For those who are looking for the reasons I feel this way I have quite a bit to write. At the beginning of the pandemic, 3 years ago, I was forced to downsize my living space significantly. I moved from a very large multiple level place to a small apartment of 500 square feet. Like everyone else during the beginning of the pandemic I was forced to buy pretty much everything online. When I moved into my new place I ordered 4 area rugs from Amazon and chose high pile shag rugs (all are in my photos) as well as a no pile indoor/outdoor rug for the bathroom. My old upright vacuum cleaner from the old place would have handled these rugs wonderfully, but it was too huge to store anywhere in my new place, so I had to give it away. What I needed was a small vacuum cleaner that could be broken apart in sections and stored under the kitchen sink. I found the Bissell Zing on Amazon and ordered it immediately. When it arrived it seemed to fit the bill. It was the right size and easy to store. But right from the first use on my high pile shag rugs and it was a struggle. The Zing was very limited- did not move easily along the shag rugs and really seemed to do a poor job. Vacuuming was HARD and it was not fun- it was like an aerobic workout and the rugs never seemed to be fully free of my cat’s hair and my long hair. Still it was all I had and I just lived with it. Also with the Zing, which is bagless, like the Eureka WhirlWind, the filter was a paper honeycomb-like thing, which I hated right away. It was not easy to clean at all. I truly hated cleaning that filter! So ok, that’s what I was dealing with and I vacuumed about once a week, hating the process. After less than a year the extension wand sections, which were plastic, began to crack. It may have been all of the pressure I was forced to use to vacuum the shag rugs. Maybe if I had just low pile rugs or floors that might not have happened. But it did. It made vacuuming ever HARDER. Oh, what a chore. I got out my friendly duct tape, bandaged the plastic and resumed and went on this way for another 2 years until yesterday when I plugged in the Zing and started vacuuming and heard an unhappy sound from the motor and smelled burning plastic. Then I lost almost all suction. It had been used approximately 150 times on the rugs and floors shown in my photos. I threw it in the trash. Since my main concern was being able to store it under my kitchen sink, I could find only 2 options under $100 here on Amazon- another Zing or the Eureka Whirlwind. I read all reviews for both. I knew the Zing quite well and knew it’s limitations and was scared to get stuck with something worse (god forbid!) but I went with the Eureka WhirlWind instead. Mind you, there are a million better vacuums out there & more money will get a better machine, but the Eureka Whirlwind is much better then the Zing for MANY reasons. First of all, it was simple & brainless to put together. I think the Zing was simple as well. But as soon as I used it today it was OBVIOUS to me how much stronger the suction was and I did not have to struggle in the same was as I did with the Zing to get it across my high pile rugs. It picked up MUCH more and I honestly think my rugs got the best vacuum they have ever experienced. They are cleaner with the WhirlWind and it was EASIER to vacuum with the Whirlwind. Other features that I found make the WhirlWind better: The extension wand is METAL with the WhirlWind, not plastic, like the Zing. So even if I had to apply the same kind of pressure, the wand is stronger and will not crack. Also, the cord is 2 feet longer than the Zing, meaning I only have to plug it in to one outlet to do my whole place. But another thing I find incredible is NO MORE honeycomb paper filter! Thank goodness! The filter on this Whirlwind is FLAT and appears so much easier to wash. Hallelujah. My vacuuming experience just now with the Whirlwind took 1/2 of the time than it took with the Zing and came out cleaner and it took less physical effort from me. So that is something you should know. This is an EXCELLENT low priced, basic, small vacuum. I will do my best to update this review only if something goes wrong and I end up hating the WhirlWind,, but so far I am thankful I did not get another Zing.

SMALL AND EFFICIENT FOR PRICE
Here’s the deal. Light-weight so very Portable with enough power to get 90% of normal , everyday dust and debris from most surfaces. Elderly will appreciate that most of all. Flexible hose and easy to vacuum with the mid-length wand / handle tool. Bagless feature save money of bags and easily empties with a flip of a catch. Value and ease of use / portable are main features. Low noise and medium suction meet most needs. Would give as a gift. L

Small but Mighty Vacuum
Love my little vacuum cleaner! I'm in. My 70s and it is lite enough fo4 me to pick up and carry. I have 2 large dogs that she'd 24/7/365. This small vac picks up all that hair and the sand they track in with ease. It is so quiet i can use it while my daughter who works nights sleeps undisturbed.i can get under the furniture w/o moving it . The dust cup empties with one hand. The retractable power cord and small size make it a snap to put away when done. It goes where my upright cannot go and dies not blow sand back on me. I rate as five stars and recommend to seniors like wh p have to do their own cleaning. 😄💚💚😄

Lightweight
I’m sooooooo mixed on this product. It is incredibly lightweight and would be a great option for someone with mobility issues or the elderly. It had very strong suction, but also didn’t seem to pick up everything. It was great on my fabric couch. I love the cord retraction / storage. Mine broke after about a month, BUT it was when my ten year old was using it and I have no idea what happened. It sounds right & turns on, but the suction is gone. I have completely disassembled and cleaned every nook and cranny to no avail. I don’t think I would buy again.

Great Suction From Such A Small Vacuum
Great vacuum cleaner for such a small size. It really does the job. Nice long flexible suction hose. Swivel head is really flexable. Definitely like the automatic cord retraction. Overall, it's worth the money. 5-stars!

Everything I need in a vacuum cleaner.
My small Eureka canister vacuum arrived today and of course I had to put it together and try it out immediately. I am so impressed with the way that this little Eureka is built. The first thing I noticed is the fully adjustable metal wand as compared to the plastic ones that you get with most small vacuums. It's fully height adjustable with many many adjustments available. The floor cleaner can go from hard floors to carpets with no problem whatsoever just a click. It is amazingly easy to dump and the filter comes out very easily and cleans up very well. I used to own another brand that was this size and this one is miles above that one as far as noise, the way that it's made and the materials that it's made with and the ease of cleaning after using. I am a 73-year-old senior lady and I have just a small senior apartment approximately 500 ft. This vacuum will do absolutely everything I need it to do. I did spend some time looking for the dust brush LOL and then notice that it is actually part of the nozzle. Now that I have located that and found how easy that is to use I think it's an amazing idea to have it a permanent part of the machine so you don't have to go looking for it when you need it. All in all, this lady is very happy with her purchase. The only thing I would tell people to look for is that one of these little vacuums has an extra filter and the other one does not however they are both the same vacuum and they are the same price even though one of them has that free filter. Of course I chose the one without the free filter which is another case of just having a senior moment. Just make sure you check. I did order an extra filter for it but of course I had to pay extra. Anyway this is a really good little vacuum and I would highly recommend it to someone with a small place.

wont work in india it trips the circuit, never received any refund.
It took them forever to deliver the product and multiple calls to cancel the order. Multiple calls on Amazon product support. Didn't work. Finally, I will probably return it.
