Pins diameter as listed is possibly confusion
The pins are fine. Can't comment on the ball falling off as I cut them off anyway. However, if the diameter of the pin is important to you, as it is to me, please be aware that the bullet points describing these pins is unclear. The pin length is 24mm, but the pin diameter is .024".

I use these for sewing and piecing fabric. Trying to find 1" straight pins with ball head as I am running out of my stock and can no longer order from vendor. Found these and thought they would be "the one" but too short and bendable, point dull too.

90% of pins have BARBS! Wish I could give “0” stars!
Don’t waste your money or time. I tried to pin some embroidery together and ABSOLUTELY could not use these pins. They are the worst pins I have ever used and I have been sewing for 70 years!
