I absolutely love, love, love this color. Berry Naughty is a deep, dark red that’s perfect for fall. It's bold, rich, and super flattering. I usually do two coats to get a nice thickness to the finish, and it goes on smooth without any streaks, which is a big deal for me. The brush makes it easy to apply, and it dries relatively quickly, about what you'd expect from a good polish. The smell is just your standard nail polish scent, nothing out of the ordinary. I didn’t use a base or top coat, and it still lasted about a week without chipping, which really impressed me. I also love that it’s 8-free and vegan. I’ve got several Essie shades and this one’s definitely one of my top picks. Great quality without the salon price.

needed a non gel polish for under my nails (yes i like to paint underneath, , , sue me) this is a nice blood red color, it does look accurate to the photos, although i still wish it was a bit darker (this is two coats). it does take a long time to dry, even after 3 or so hours one coat still had some tackiness (maybe it wasn’t thin enough??) but since it’s underneath there’s less of a chance of messing it up, now sure how easy that can be said for regular use, unless you’re really good at being careful. hope this helps :0

My favorite Essie nail polish color. The polish is super opaque, you can apply multiple layers and it won't look thick on your nails. The polish isn't too liquidy or too thick. I've used this polish for years and it's usually my go to. In my opinion it's a perfect wine color for my skin tone. The only thing I don't love is how easily it chips after only 2 days of wear and tear :/ I usually wear this color with a sally Hansen top coat, but still, it doesn't last. In the photo with the oreo, the color looks darker since I added multiple layers. In lollipop photo you can see the red color more vividly cause of the flash, but it also looks like that in the sun. You can also see how the color started to chip away already around the edges of my nails.

Bright, vibrant color and great coverage! A single coat works for me, though I haven't yet tried multiple coats. No streakiness or gunkiness.

Gorgeous color and great polish. I have never bought this brand before, but I liked the color. The polish is thick and the color is well pigmented; one coat is all I need. It leaves an amazing shine. This could be my new favorite brand.
