Product description ------------------- Lemon is an evergreen tree with highly perfumed, white flowers, native to India. The oil has a strong initial aroma like lemon rind, but richer and more concentrated. Care must be taken as the oil is phototoxic. Commonly associated with: Lemon essential oil has great antiseptic properties, without the medicinal aroma of many of the antiseptic essential oils. It can be added to antiseptic washes and sprays, and is particularly effective when combined with tea tree, lavender or manuka. As well as being antiseptic, lemon is also a great cleaner and particularly useful for removing anything sticky. Lemon essential oil is well suited to oily skin and hair types with its astringent nature helping to remove excess oil and acting on blocked or open pores with its antiseptic, cleaning action. Emotionally, lemon can clear mind and improve concentration, making it a good choice when there are difficult decisions to be made.
