Can the shelving be assembled on the other side? In the picture it is on the right. Can it be assembled on the left?

I am not sure why pleople said this can only be assembled one way. I purchased two and was able to easily assemble one left facing and the other right facing, without having to do anything different. Just switch around which side the boards are on.

When you're typing on a laptop, does the desk shake? (I recently bought a desk and typing caused the screen to slightly shake and it was a nuisance)

Typing won't shake it but it's not sturdy either. I'm expecting my desk to break soon.

I see in the description it says no tools required for assembly? Do they give screwdriver with it?

They give you the screws, nails etc, but all you need is a Phillips head screwdriver! Very simple instructions.and beautiful little desk. If you put it together correctly very, very sturdy.

Could anyone tell me how to connect i and k parts please? there are two pre-drilled holes on i and screws 5 are too small for it.

The instructions are wrong. Begin by putting together the shelves on either side and then attach to the desk top. The shallower medium diameter pre-drilled holes that don't go all the way through are for the wooden dowel pins, not screws. The larger holes are for the cam lock nuts and the deeper medium diameter holes on the edges are for the cam lock pins. You may need to use a paperclip or something to clean the debris out of the holes first- several of the fasteners did not fit for me until I did that. Hope this helps. If not, you can use a 3/32" drill bit to drill your own pilot holes and then put it together with some drywall screws.
