I struggled searching for the best high chair that would hook to my table. I couldn’t find exact measurements and most reviews didn’t share this. I took a chance with this one because of other reviews for the best quality, and material. My table, as u can see in the picture, has a bottom lip 2 inches from the edge of the table. The height is 3.5 inches from the top of the table to the bottom of the lip. This chair would fit 5 inches in height if needed, and would be as secure as anything else u could find. It doesn’t budge. It’s so secure! It was so simple to set up, and simple to fold down! The material is amazing. It’s durable, and super easy to clean. It doesn’t cut off the circulation of my child’s legs, or leave marks. It doesn’t cause him to slide forward or backwards. The buckle has a cover which protects it from getting food or crumbs into it. The arms have rubber to protect the table from getting scratched! The tightening handles are easy to grip too! The chair does not move even though we clamped it to the lip. It was the only option to get it far enough forward so my child can really reach and not have so much food fall down. We did try it by clamping to just the table with the 2inches available before the bottom lip starts. It was still sooo sturdy and secure, but we just wanted him closer to the table. I would recommend this high chair out of all the ones out there! I don’t have to clean around legs of a regular chair, or clean drippings off the legs and then some. This chair is the least amount of cleaning required. Also- with no legs, we don’t snag our toes on the anything! It’s so perfect!

Such a great item. Easy to take when not at home as it adjusts to table with ease. Avoids use of a highchair at restaurants that might nit be as clean as we desire. Also great toddler seat when sitting at tables and learning to volir

UPDATE ON PLATE ISSUE: Replay divided plates fit perfect!! Works perfect for my island! We have an open concept so i didn’t want to add “clutter” & decided to go w a hook on chair. I love the little pocket in the back that’s where i keep all his waterproof bibs! The tray is on the little side & prob won’t be able to put his big boy plate on there once it’s time unless i find some that actually fit perfect in there but eh i’ll figure that out later lol. For the price it’s a very good chair. You do have to take it apart when it comes to washing it so that’s a little annoying but i mean we all know it’s not gonna be washed EVERY DAY soooo whatever. It feels very secure too so i trust it to not fall when my baby is in there. UPDATE: The only thing i don’t like is how he kind of dangles there he always slides forward somehow no matter how i adjust him all his weight is always at the front where his crotch is...it kind of help having his straps on so it hold him back but it’s just a little annoying. Also wish it had a waterproof type of lining instead of the fabric bc my child gets it dirty like every day and i do not intend on washing it every day lol.

We’ve had ours for about 1.5 years. We really like it. It saves a lot of space compared to the free standing high chairs and we/she likes being up at the same level as us during meals. We have the original one with the plastic tray, which I’m grateful for. It prevents more food from dropping to the patiently waiting dogs below. When we don’t have the tray attached there is a significant gap and more “accidental” 😉 drops. It’s easy to remove and clean without detaching the main supports from the table. I just put it through a normal wash in the washing machine and hang dry outside. It dries quickly and looks as good as new. However, the first time I washed it I made the mistake of accidentally leaving the rigid seat support inside the seat pocket (it slides right out). It still works ok, but it’s not designed to go through the washer. I notice in some people’s photos that they fail to put the white metal bar through the d-rings when installing/reinstalling the fabric portion of the chair. Doing so helps support the front of the seat so it’s less likely to tilt when an infant/toddler is seated. If any possible tilting is an issue for you, buy a rigid wood/plastic/etc high chair instead. We’re glad we got it and would buy it again (but I’m glad we have the tray since we don’t use it for travel). And it’s held up well to our active toddler!

Would have given it a five if it hadn’t been such a pain to figure out how to use the straps to keep our grandson from worming his way out of the chair. We have a very sturdy table that a baby Hercules couldn’t flip, so this is far superior to having to purchase a high chair for our little guy’s frequent visits. It must be comfortable, because as long as he has food or a toy in hand, he’s happy as a clam. Baby Maverick loves being part of the dinner action with adults and siblings and because he’s right over the table, I rarely have to retrieve food from the floor. Well made, so far, anything I’ve had to clean off has come up easily and like that it will fold down if we need to disconnect for any reason. Can’t see any reason it wouldn’t travel well. Great purchase and much cheaper than a high chair.

Love this chair! Keep on the end of counter for when our grandsons visit. Takes up little space and the little boys love being at the counter with me. Can move to the table too. Our daughter loves it too as they bought one for their house. Easy to remove cover and clean in washing machine also.

We do not have a big space in our dining area because we have this huge island that was included in the house model that we picked. At first I thought I will buy a high chair but I also do not want to spend a lot of money for it. Most compact and space saving high chairs are very expensive. I was browsing on high chair alternatives when I saw this and thought right away that this will work best for us since we all eat in the big island anyway. This product is very easy to install, I actually assembled and installed this myself and did not need my husband’s help. I like that it has shoulder and waist straps. We were only using the waist strap at first but now that my little babe can stand up, we have been securing her with the shouder straps as well. It is easy to clean and wipe and as long as you wipe right after eating it does not leave a mark. It is comfortable and my litte one enjoys her time there along with the family. We remove it when we have family events since we place food trays on the island. It is easy to fold and store when needed. Overall great money for the price.

We ordered this high chair for Christmas, and I will admit, it sat there in the box until today. With COVID-19 and everything else, we just didn't really go anywhere. I opened up the box to put it together today, and there is no carrying case at all. So, we just have to haul it around without one, I guess. It's obviously too late to get a new one or, you know, just the carrying case that was supposed to be included, and it's pretty annoying. The chair itself appears to be sturdy and of good quality. We'll be testing it out today, sans easy way to transport it.

This product is so great for an on-the-go high chair when you’re feeding your little one or need them to sit somewhere that’s not your lap. Highly recommend. Used it once for a few hours and it was really sturdy, holds well. Comes with a silicone plate (which doesn’t attach to anything). Also has an attached storage/carry bag which just folds into a pocket when you’re not using it. Great straps to secure your little one. He was comfortable in it for hours and he’s a very busy 11 month old! Wish I bought this sooner!

Highly recommended! We probably used this chair now several times since we bought it. It's not heavy but it is really sturdy. It's also super easy and fast to install, safe and adaptable to different tables, and the most importantly: baby is safe and comfortable. We also like the fact we can clean it at home and baby doesn't have to seat in something dirty, uncomfortable or unsafe since a lot of restaurants don't really invest in decent high chairs and don't really clean them like we would. The 5 point harness is definitely the key for us since our baby moves a lot while eating and often tries to stand. Every time we use this chair we get positive comments about it from restaurant staff and their clients. We are extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

I am very happy with this purchase. It is very compact which is great for travel. It is also a great option if you’re short on space and don’t want to buy a high chair. Easy to set up and clean. You can easily take it apart and put it in the washing machine. It is really comfortable and safe. The one thing I was a little worried about was when you clamp it down that it would leave marks on the surface you clamped it to but I haven’t seen any yet. Also there is a space between the surface you clamp it to and the chair itself. I found that food would fall through the space and onto the floor.

The safety straps are very difficult to use. The connections need to be reattached daily as they fall apart and are difficult to reconnect
