How much batter do I put in the waffle maker?

I use a one cup measure to pour fill the waffle maker. It all depends on how thick your batter is.

What size (roughly) are the waffles? It says mini but that doesn't tell me how many inches.

A little smaller than a dinner plate! Mine is stored away somewhere, so I can’t give you exact measurements. They are a good size for kids and adults.

The version we ordered had ocean animal shapes, dolphin, crab, seahorse.
