Description says "Approx. 23 cm long". That must be inches, right? Any idea of the diameter. Smaller than a normal broom handle?

My kids are 8 and 10. we tried several shovels over the years. Tgese look good, but im afraid my kids aged out. What do you think?

It's really a great shovel. I would think the 8 year old would still enjoy it but the 10 year old might be aged out.

We live in Southern California, so the cold isn't a factor and we use it for the beach, but this is the best constructed shovel for the price that can be purchased! The plastic is very thick and it is extremely well made. I would take a chance with it... we are very impressed with the quality.
