I was looking for a convenient but healthy replacement for some of the high sodium ramen cups I like eating, and this is probably the best option I've found. It tastes good, and is nutritious. The sodium levels aren't bad considering how much protein and satiety you get. A few tips though: - I add more water than it asks for to make it less gooey/clumpy - I also add a bit of MSG, which enhances the flavor without increasing sodium levels by much.

If you like black bean soup, this is an excellent one to keep on the shelf. Easy and quick to fix, with a great taste; and if you want to you can easily dress it up with chopped onions or anything else you like—but it doesn’t need anything. I like it better than most restaurant black bean soups I’ve tried. I like it a bit thicker so don’t quite go to the fill line on the cup, but even at the fill line it is thicker than many canned black bean soups so if you like thin soup you might need to make it in a little larger container. You do need to stir it very well or it will clump up, but worth the effort.

These were tasty & very filling Compared to the sesame chicken version of these soups, which are also tasty, but a better snack, than a meal

I bought these as quick snack and meals in a pinch. I got some years ago, and have been looking for them. Was glad to find them here! It’s great I can order these on subscribe and save. They taste good, and are healthier than some similar options. I don’t really follow the directions. I add boiling water to the cup, and let it sit until ready, eliminating the need for a the microwave. It works just as well.

This is a great bean meal. Add shredded cheese also. It is not just a soup. I make it with boiling water out of hot pot for camping also. 4 min. Wait.

Rich and flavorful, great tasting soup. Easy to prepare, a bit pricey but worth it.
