Chunyu Palace Korean Kimchi - Radish Kimchi 100g

Was prepared for package size but the actual size of the pieces was mis-leading. Radish chunks were smaller than 1cm cubes and the taste was very strange. Incredibly sweet and not the same quality as other varieties I've eaten.The dates on the packaging also seem strange as the sticker says the date on the packet itself is production date but its strange that there's then no expiry date aside from an added sticker that covers most of the original text.Unable to return the second unopened package so maybe just buy 1 if you're still tempted.

I have eaten cabbage kimchi from a variety of producers and enjoyed it. I was very keen to try radish kimchi, and I like radish (well, the UK version) so when I saw Amazon had some, I ordered it immediately.I wasn't disappointed. This has an amazing flavour and texture, being crunchy. I will be purchasing it again and I think I prefer this to regular kimchi.This is a single portion ideal for a single serving which is fine for me, but others may need to purchase several packets.

This stunk my fridge out, it’s super spicy which is a shame as it takes away the flavours and it needed salt. Nice to try as a one time thing but wouldn’t buy again.

Wish I'd bought the tin variety, thought it was larger than it was, not value for money at all. Over priced for size and couldn't taste the radish just a tonne of salt. Zero stars really for this item

Not sure what is wrong with this kimchi but both my husband and I had to spit it out. We have been eating kimchi for 25+ years and are pretty versed on how it should taste but there was something wrong with these. The second issue was the packet is TINY. We paid 6.20 for one tiny packet! The last problem is we had ordered 1 cabbage kimchi and 1 radish and received 2 cabbage kimchi packets. Overall this order has been a complete disaster.Will not order again that is certain.

The kimchi itself is decent, but it's just too expensive for such tiny packets.

Avoid! Discussing taste nothing like kimchi!!!

Kimchi is a Korean traditional dish, and the world seem to know that fact. However this brand of kimchi is made in China, with two different dates on the package. One showing 2022-07-02, the other showing on a separate label the seller placed shows 02/Jul/2023. Kimchi doesn't last a year even if the make has put a ton of preservatives in them. Please be aware of the brand, and the seller name Thai Supermarket. The seller didn't disclose any of these information.
