Simple to use and easy to carry around

This pops open like a Lastolite reflector hence takes up very little room and when opened gives a decent reference area in your image for white balance correction. Better than using tiny pieces of grey/white paper or card that get grubby and dog-eared. Essential kit if you are shooting digital images in mixed light sources.

This comes folded into thirds and packed in a pouch, it was well packaged. I noticed, once I opened it, that the grey side was very creased so I left it 24hrs. It was still creased a day later so I left it on top of a hot radiator in the hope that this would cure it. Still creased so I have decided to use it creased. It is a beast to fold back up and if I did, I suspect the creasing would become worse so I won't try again. There is a clip holding the metal flexible circle together, it looks as if it should be covered by the hem joint in the binding material, it is not and I suspect it will eventually puncture the binding. The grey side works quite successfully with the camera, the white side is pretty much hopeless and you are better off with a piece of A4 white paper. The grey side is a coated material that has a vinyl like feel, the white side is a slightly off-white semi reflective material. I would not buy another and I am looking for a better version of the same thing. I have given it an average score but I am not sure what average is in this context, it's not unusable but it's not a "good" product.

I have used this product to correct the color balance on various lighting scenarios... ... simple product to use well worth the money folds down really small to take out on location or studio use...

This came with the grey all crack and creased when opened from the bag, as though it's been stored for awhile. Maybe be better to invest in the solid type of card...
