BSF Larvae are so good for chickens. I purchased this brand because it is made in the USA and because the price is great! If you need to get your chickens in the coop at night, just shake the container and they come running. Also, I know the quality of the eggs is better. The shells are hard and the yolks are beautiful. I do not free range my chickens, so getting the proper insect protein is very important. This is the second time I have purchased this brand. I will continue to do so. Great product, great quality. It's nice to support an American business.

My quail have non soy non gmo feed too, but they love these fly grubs more, and eat more of these than the boring grain feed. I want my birds to be more protein from bug based, so these dry grubs work out excellent particularly in the winter months. The birds eat them up first, and supplement their eating with the feed mill feed second, and my quail birds are doing awesome, very strong, healthy and vibrant in an Avery building with ample space. Totally recommend this product.

My chickens started their molt this year and their egg production completely halted - I was really worried about ensuring they were getting enough protein. I saw an advertisement for these and purchased a pack - after a tossing a few handfuls a day for about a week - we went right back to the girls kicking back up their egg production and growing in their new feathers. I don't know if the flavor is five star but my birds definitely think so. I use them as treats, training tools and additional protein source. The birds hear me holler "worms" and come running! It makes them much easier to get them all in their run. I have never had a problem with quality and I think for the money they definitely earn the five stars. My birds would give them 10 if they could type.
