How many watts is the bulb?

130 volts 40 watt candelabra base globe shaped bulb...

Does anyone know what kind of plastic the moravian star is made of; for example polyethylene or "polypropylene? it does not respond to pvc glue.

I don't know. We have never had to glue our Moravian star .

How do you take it apart to change the light bulb?

You remove the pins connecting the plastic piece with the lightbulb in it and remove it from the rest of the star. You can easily unscrew and change the bulb and then repin it back into place.

is this durable? what are the dimensions of this item?

Two years of use. All outdoors. ( we put it up the day after thanksgiving and take it down after the day of Epiphany). It is plastic and durable. Handle like an ornament not a football. We store it on the garage hanging up. All who see it always say " It is beautiful". 22 inches
