What size are these woman winter socks?

These socks fit my 71/2 size foot fine. 
They did shrink and become slightly tighter after washing and drying. However it does. It stop me from continuing to wear them. 
I think if your foot is a size 9 they will be too small..

I have wide feet so very thick woman winter socks make my shoes too tight, are these woman winter socks much thicker than "normal"?

I also have wide feet, and I'm a little on the heavy side. Some of the socks fit well and some are tight across the top of the foot opposite the heel.

Can someone with large feet say how flexible the sizing is? I'm 11-WW and a lot of 'standard' size woman winter socks just don't work.

I wear an 11 (sometimes larger depending on brand) wide.  The width of the sock is great and has the flex for a wider foot across the metatarsals and the middle of the foot.  The stretch however isn’t great and it takes some work to get the sock on because it’s a bit tight in the ankle making it hard getting it over the heel with my big feet.  But once on, they are very comfortable.  I bought 3 brands of wools socks at the same time and this brand has, over time become my favorite even though it’s a pain to get on over the heel.   The issue is it lack stretch in the ankle so getting it over the heal is a problem; it you have a large ankle, I wouldn’t recommend this sock at all.  I’ve washed them and tumbled dried too, and they fit the same.

Additionally, I’m diabetic and they are not tight, they do not fall down, and they are the only sock I want to wear all day; normally I go barefoot!

Have no idea where they are made...but they are quality socks for the price. I have purchased more than once in a variety of colors/patterns.
