Good upgrade for work from home meetings
Engage 65 is a Very good headset. Range is very good. I can leave the house and put the garbage out by the street and not lose connection. The reason I bought this was for the lighted mute button on the base. It lights up when on mute and is easy to turn on and off from the base. I can ensure I am on mute. There is also a mute on and off button on the mic boom, so you can change mute while walking around. The headset makes a noise periodically to confirm you are on mute. This could be annoying at first but I got use to it. And it helps ensure i am on mute if I am wandering around the house. The headset also states โmute onโ and off when changing mute. This confirms you are on and off. I did add a mic sock over the microphone to reduce wind and breathing noises. Sound quality is very good and the mic works well. It also takes the mute off most of my webex meetings, which avoids the double muting issue. For some reason it is not always synced up for every meeting. In those cases I just reference the headset base light for mute. Jabber VOIP link works well with phone calls. Update - 2.5 years - Really like this headset - software updates work well from Jabra. They seem to keep up with meeting software changes. One issue I did have. We have flexible seating at work. I bring my headset to work in a backpack. I was not disconnecting the power cord and USB plug from the base. Over time the USB plug socket in the base got damaged and caused my calls to disconnect at times. I believe this was from cables wiggling around when transported in my backpack. I bought a used base and the headset works great again. I would recommend carefully removing the cables from the base when transporting to hopefully prevent this. Update 5 years - Still working great - I am only using this at home now and not transporting every day. The black ear pad started peeling and leaving small black plastic pieces around. Turns out you can get replacement pads on Amazon that are better than the originals. I purchased Lukvcoe Replacement Ear Pads for Jabra Engage 55/65/75 (Stereo Version) Headset

Good sound quality, makes work much more efficient.
The Jabra Engage 65 has been a welcome addition. I can use this with a CISCO Voip phone and Skype for Biz. The Engage 65's sound quality is great, battery life is great, the headset is lightweight and comfortable. The Engage 65 took some time to setup, requiring a call to tech support due to lack of instructions. Also required a firmware update using Jabra Direct. While this is a good headset, shortly thereafter I discovered Sennheiser SDPro. The Senn feels much more substantial, where the Engage is kind of flimsy feeling. The Senn has a much heavier base also. However, the Senn requires switching between computer and phone, the Engage does not.' Edit: I have been using the Engage 65 for a several weeks now. Loving them!! Changed rating to a 5 start. Its great to be able to switch between desk phone and laptop without flipping switches, disconnecting cables, etc. Edit 2: These are NOT advertised a noise canceling headsets. Although, they do pretty well in blocking ambient noise. I have now tried the Mono version and Engage 75....both very good for what they are intended for.

Wow!
Much better quality than expected. It was marked as Used-Acceptable, but it was like brand new! It still had the peel off stickers on and even smelled new. Works flawlessly. I saved $200!! I bought it through Amazon Resale which is amazons official one. The headset itself is great. Works with my Cisco 7821 VOIP phone. The ear cushions are super comfortable. Works as it should. Great that it has both desk phone and soft phone support as I have a desk phone but also have zoom meetings and it works for both. Just press the call button for a second or two and release and it switches between. Thereโs a little voice that tells you which one youโre in in addition to the status light on the base. I am not able to download software in my work computer but did download the jabra direct application on my personal Mac and was able to adjust the side tone and make sure the firmware was up to date. I just ordered the compatible hook switch so I can answer calls using the call button.

Excellent purchase!
I use these at work every day. The sound is clear and the headset is comfortable. You have to make sure the microphone is aligned with your mouth. A little bit off and people can't hear you when you speak. Quick to recharge when you're not using them. I love them.

Be wary
Does not work, and the extended warranty claimed there is nothing wrong or to fix. I explicitly explained the problem, and they pushed it aside and ignored me. The microphone doesnt work, it doesnt connect to the base and it doesnt charge upon being based. It just flashes a red light on the headset. This worked perfectly from 2022 until the beginning of the year. For the price it should not completely fail within 3 years. And worse off is im not getting the repair assistance I paid extra for. I wouldn't recommend spending so much just for a 3 year lifespan.

Exactly what I needed.
***Compatible with: Cisco Jabber, Teams, Zoom*** I'm sure it's compatible with other softphones and software apps (and can be used with many desk phones too), but those are the 3 I use daily at work. I wanted a high quality comfortable wireless headset, since I'm wearing it around 45 hours a week, and that is what I got. 1. It is "plug and play" with the above, I didn't have to go in and manually change my microphone or speaker settings at all, or download anything to make it work properly. 2. The level of in-ear volume, when tested, got up to "ear splitting", lol. 3. Passive noise cancellation in the earpieces means I can still hear what's going on around me with my coworkers, which is important at my job. 4. The noise cancellation in the mic is acceptable but not the BEST. Some background nose is still audible to my clients. I understand that this is adjustable according to the user manual, but I haven't gotten around to testing it yet. 5. The mute button on the mic and being able to tap my earpiece to answer or end a call is very handy. 6. I have my headset on all day (around 9 hours) and I did test to see - the battery lasts the whole day without having to dock and charge, although it will fast-charge quite a bit if I put it on the dock during my lunch hour. 7. No ear or head fatigue even after wearing all day, super comfortable and light. 8. I am now free to move around the office and am no longer chained to my desk. I tested the connection and it held all the way to the break room to refill my coffee. *This headset is EXPENSIVE.* I'm not shy about investing in quality when it is necessary though. My last headset was much less costly but died after 6 months, was wired so I couldn't move around much, and wasn't nearly as comfortable as this one - with lots less features as well. So far I am very happy with my purchase. I'll update as necessary if anything changes. I did buy the offered warranty with 3 years of coverage for around $35 as well.

Great sound quality, not so great reliability.
My experience with this headset has been a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the headset is incredibly lightweight and comfortable, making it suitable for long hours of use. The stereo sound quality is outstanding, providing clear and crisp audio for both calls and music. One of the standout features is the advanced noise-canceling microphone, which effectively blocks out background noise, ensuring that my voice comes through loud and clear during calls. The wireless range is impressive, allowing me to move around my workspace without losing connection. However, there are significant downsides. The power-saving sleep mode doesn't work properly and has a frustrating tendency to disconnect calls just by touching the headset. When I reached out to customer support for assistance, the response was disappointingly slow, with only one reply per 24 hours, and they were not able to provide a satisfactory solution. Overall, while the Jabra Engage 65 Wireless Headset, Stereo, offers some excellent features and performance, the issues with sleep mode and inadequate customer support significantly detract from its value.

Very easier to use , but if its an older phone harder to hook up
works as designed and battery does last 12 hours, like the portability of it and would make a second purchase in a heart beat

Worked well for 2 months...
I bought this headset as I have worked with them already for my office. For whatever reason, this headset is now not working. The IT department has tried everything to get the headset to work and nothing happens. One of the ear pieces also fell off and is hard to put back on. With the amount I spent on this item, you would think it would work for at least a few years before failing.

Works Great. Highly Recommended for Skype/Teams/Slack and Regular Desk Phone Use
I have tried numerous wired headsets, as well as four difference wireless headsets, including the Jabra Engage 75. The Jabra Engage 65 is my favorite. I found the touchscreen controls on the Jabra Engage 75 to be difficult to use, unresponsive, and finicky. The Jabra Engage 65 seems to have the same (very good) sound quality as the 75, a much better interface (physical buttons!), and it's significantly less expensive. The function to switch between desk phone and computer is somewhat hidden (hold down the Call button) but once you figure it out it's fine. The microphone mute on the base station works well; it interfaces perfectly with Skype, Teams, and Slack calls. The base station also recognizes when you use the (software) mute in Skype, Teams, and Slack. The mute button on the microphone works ok, although it requires touching the microphone, which sometimes causes noise on the call. The headset battery indicator shows four levels (High, Medium, Low, Very Low). Jabra claims 13 hours of battery life on the headset. I've never fully tested that, but after a few days of 6+ hours of use before recharging, it never went below Medium. The only feature I miss from a few more expensive models is Bluetooth so I can use this with my mobile phone.
