Got these for my grandson. My dsughters loved these growing up. Great little stories with a good lesson

Best book for a bossy kid or adult. So funny!!) We read it over and over!

It's a very small paperback. One in a series of books originally printed in the 1980's for young children focusing on good character traits. There are 137 books in the series. One group is Mr. Men. The other group is Miss Missy. This one teaches the importance of saying please. I chose it because my grandchildren are starting to teach my great granddaughter to say please. She's 17 months old. It's a cute little book.

Guess what? Little Miss Bossy is BOSSY and everyone is fed up with her bossiness. It is time to teach her a lesson. Who can help do that? Wilfred the Wizard of course with help from one of his books! The next time Little Miss Bossy is bossy, Wilfred is watching her again and whispers something under his breath. What happens? Little Miss Bossy suddenly finds herself wearing a pair of talking shoes and going for a LONG walk! No matter how rude Little Miss Bossy is or how much she shouts, the shoes stay on her feet and keep her walking! What is the magic word she needs to remember when asking Wilfred the wizard to remove them? Will she have learned her lesson? A FABULOUS story/lesson for children written in an amusing way that gets the message across!

I love the "miss / mr." series and they are good for children. Children typically love the characters in the stories and they can relate to them. These books are smal in size, which I wasn't aware of. I thought I was getting a typical sized chlidrens book and these are much smaller - but still the same great stories.

I bought this as a gift and it was a hit!

I love these books. I had 4 sons. So I bought all the Mr Men books. They went through my grandsons too. When I was lucky enough to have granddaughters I was able to buy Little Miss books.

I bought this book for my wife, so she could learn a valuable lesson before it is too late. Her continued parakeet style hailing of me is to dish out tasks and micromanage everything is become increasingly annoying. And this is far cheaper than putting her on a project management course to learn how to email me instead. But I’m afraid, that wizard will be visiting sooner rather than later.

The kids love these books...as do the grandparents.

Abbiamo altri libri di questo autore, le storielle sono carine e scritte in un buon inglese, utile per abituare i bimbi alla lingua. inoltre i personaggi rappresentano sempre un carattere e aiutano a far passare messaggi quali non essere prepotenti (come in questo caso) in modo divertente e non "da predica"

Comme d'habitude dans cette série, l'histoire est mignonne, tout comme les personnages. Ma fille de 4 ans (qui est bilingue) aime beaucoup Little Miss Bossy, surtout étant bien bossu elle-même!
