Real Bass - RMS Not Real
I have had this sub now for about a year. And when I say it is a very nice sounding sub. I am not sure I have ever heard one hit so deep. But the RMS is flat wrong. I blew it using a 120W Bazooka AMP.

Clean, versatile sub...
I just put a pair of these in my truck yesterday (4/17/07). I bought these based on the positive reviews I read and so far they seem to be right. The bass is clean and low, especially for a .75 ft3 sealed enclosure. I haven't tried any of the variable Q inserts yet because when I ran the T/S parameters I liked the numbers I got with no insert or (high Q setting) which are an F3=33 Hz, a tuned frequency (Fc) of 41 Hz, and a Q=.94. I listen to many different types of music from hip hop to rock, from reggae to alternative so I needed a sub that was versatile, musical, occasionally loud, but most of all clean. I think these subs will fill the large shoes left by my Phoenix Gold Ti10d's.The only negative I've noticed so far is that the power handling rating might be a bit overstated (something I know almost everybody does). I have my pair running on a JL 1000/1 with the gain a little past half way and I can drive these to distortion without trying too hard. A while back I tried a pair of JL 10W6v2's and I couldn't distort those things without my ears bleeding but the low end in a sealed box was non existent so I didn't stick with them. Don't get me wrong these subs hit hard and low, my pair rumble in a sealed box so I can only imagine what they would sound like ported. I'm just saying that when you list a RMS of 400W and a peak of 1600W it should be a little harder to distort them. Overall I'm pleased with these subs and would recommend them to anyone who wants good clean bass with any type of music and can still turn heads if you throw in a bass CD. This is a very nice sub

If you want a sumptuous accurate sub...
I am all about the sound and could care less about whether or not I could destroy my eardrums or p!ss off my neighbors. I run ONE of these Infinity perfect 10d VQ subs in my full size van. It is hooked up to a Rockford Fosgate 125.2 Punch, mono into a sealed tiny box. So I would say I am getting 315 true RMS watts at the speaker. Running the large cylinder. No distortion at all and more than enough SPL to drive me out of the van. The speaker lets you hear musical sounds even my JL Audio W6 did not deliver. And OBTW, it is 10 years old. Amazing lows and accurate clear bass.

great subwoofer
These subs r awesome if u knw wht ur doin. The guy who blew one with a 120 watt bazooka amp doesnt knw what he was doing. He prolly had the gain all the way up clipping the crap out of this poor sub. Anyway this sub like the original kappa perfect is awesome. Great lows, punchyness and sound quality in either ported or sealed. Give this sub 350-400 watts of good quality power n the right box n ur golden.
