This mattress protector is great value for the money. Thin but does the trick.

I needed a spare cover when we washed and dried our other cover that we have. I was surprised at the weight of the entire package, it is very light, so I was questioning the capability of the protection that would be provided by this product. The surface material is a soft material that does not creak or make any odd noises when sleeping on it. I did wash the cover prior to using it, to remove any factory odors. It can be washed in cold and dried on low temperature. You will need to go out and turn it a few times while drying it or the inside will still be damp. We used dryer balls on this one and it seemed to help with the drying process. I found the cover easy to install on our queen mattress and easy to zip it up all the way around. I was a little skeptical of the zipper but it has functioned flawlessly. I did pour some water on the cover and let it sit for a few minutes and then wiped it up and dried the cover and then opened the zipper to check the mattress and it was dry. I did not notice any noises when sleeping on the bed that night or any other night. For the price this cover is hard to beat.

I'm shopping for a new mattress cover, because I'm getting ready to potty train another child, and this mattress cover isn't available soon enough. I've been dissatisfied with the reviews I've seen of other mattress covers, so I thought I'd go back and edit my own review. The waterproofing on this works. My son has tested it HARD. Full bladder release and so tired that he lies in it for hours, AND THE MATTRESS IS DRY. Unfortunately, we've tested it many a time. And it's worked, for years, and after LOTS of washes. I picked this cover because I was looking for a mattress cover that gave at least SOME side coverage, without the expense of a full five-sided cover or the hassle of an encasement. My child is potty-training, and I don't want to have to remove an encasement as often as I wash this thing. But my child rolls up against the railing, and so wets all the way to the edges sometimes. Most top-only cover don't cover the whole top, or at least they shrink quickly to they don't quite get the corners. My son gets the corners! The photos for this cover show the top coming over the edges a bit, which would be enough for my purposes. It doesn't quite cover that much on my child's mattress. It's probably better than my previous cover, but only time (and washings) will tell. Perhaps if the fit had been snugger (the mattress is not very thick) it would stretch out and pull down more like the photo. I have no complaints about water-absorbancy, but it hasn't been tried that hard yet. He's been staying pretty dry since we got it.

It great value for your money. It is very comfortable to sleep on. It is thick but not so much that it is hot. It has minimal noise; feels like you’re sleeping on a regular sheet. Do not hesitate to purchase.

This mattress protector is just what we needed for our guest bed. It is waterproof, noiseless, and comfortable. Our young grandchildren use this bed a lot, and the protector gives us peace of mind. Adult guests appreciate the comfort and quietness of the protector.

Fits great on 12” mattress Hope we never test the water proof feature.

Material looks and feels good. yes it's waterproof material. Texture and finishing is also good. Most important for me is Material is breathable. Protector is Compatible with my mattress. Just keep in mind the size before ordering.

US sizing? Bought for a UK king but loose even on my superking.

It is good and serves the purpose. It does make a small plastic sound when climbing on your bed which could wake up a sleeping baby (if they aren’t in deep slee). But fits perfectly on the mattress.
