Streit's, Potato Pancake, 6 oz

I was 78 years old when I found these! Potato pancakes were never so tasty, so easy to make, and so satisfying to serve. My husband loves them, so the seller's fast delivery is a big plus. So glad I found this item and gave them a try!

I tried making potato pancakes from scratch, but I think these taste better and they're easier and quicker to make. If you have a Whole Foods I think they sell them, too.

The flavor is a little bland but that's probably due to it being kosher. It is easy to use and makes nice cakes.

This mix is easy to use even for a first timer like me. With inflation I was finding frozen potato latkes expensive. Wanted a cheaper alternative. Just add cold water, egg and mix. If you can make pancakes from a box, you can make potato latkes. The first batch I made were a little pale. Then I got better, left them in the skillet longer and they looked like the ones on the box. Since I cook for myself, there were latkes left over. I put them in a plastic container and popped them in the fridge for another day. Some I froze, it didn't affect the flavor, I warmed them in an oven at 300 F for 15 min.

We saw a documentary on the Streit's business so wanted to try something from there. We're delighted by excellent quality and flavor and fragrance of these. Will seek them out again!

Tasty...good to make a German meal with brats, sauerkraut, and applesauce. Easy to use with clear directions.

I was craving potato pancakes and Walmart said they never heard of such a thing so I ordered this. I followed the instructions and ended up with lumpy tasteless piles of dough. Not a hint of potato flavor, no little morsels of potatoes, nothing. Very disappointing. Guess I will have to make them myself from scratch.
