From the inside, looks no different than looking through a screen; even provides some filtering for a window that gets direct intense sunlight. From the outside, clearly visible and no bird strikes since installing.

The “decals” were very securely packaged. Once opened, we were thrilled with the thickness and quality of them. We covered two areas where bird strikes occurred most often:: the central portions of a 3’x 5’ sliding window and two portions of our patio doors, in about 15 minutes.We haven’t had a bird strike since we installed the decals, which is awesome! AND, we get a closer view of them now because they can’t see us on the other side of the window. So clever! We’ve had quite the mix of weather this past month (rain, heat and snow) and the decals are still like new. I expect they’ll be there for a very long time.

Window film application is always concerning; well this was a breeze on a 60" long window! Intial alignment is key...start crooked and you will probably struggle. I peeled back just the first 5 or 6 inches and got the top aligned properly then started peeling the backing down, smoothing it onto the glass as I went. I applied the top edge exactly at the window edge so I would not need to trim it and could use that manufactured straight edge to align the film right at the start. At first I had tried just rinsing the window with water and a bit of soap but it was drying too quickly and I couldn't smooth it well. So using the hose I misted the window THROUGH the partially applied film at the top. That worked great and I was able to slowly pull off the backing and easily smooth the film all the way down to the bottom. Trim with a sharp razor so you do not catch or tear the edge of the film (I used an Exacto knife); you should be able to gently pull the waste film free. The window will look blotchy till the water caught in the holes dries (wait or use a microfiber cloth to gently dry). After application from the interior it looks a heavier than normal window screen....totally doable...especially considering before I had pieces of plastic snow fence over the windows to minimize bird strikes. From the outside it looks just like advertised....kind of wierd but I'm not looking at it and it's better than what I had before! This first window application was a test case. I'll be buying 2 more rolls to do the other two!

Boy did I learn a lot about birds hitting my window from customer service. The product definitely works whereas decals and owls did not. But, I don't like the way it looks because you can't see the window mullions after it is applied to the outside.I called customer support to see if I could put it inside one of the dual glazed windows. The sales rep explained that it wouldn't work if I did that, but I also learned that the bird wasn't flying into it because it saw the reflection of the trees, but that it is territorial aggression. The bird seeing itself in the reflection and attacking itself to protect its nest. The rep explained that Eastern Bluebirds (the culprit) are known for this and suggested moving my bird box.So, although I don't like the way it looks, it definitely works and the rep, by giving me the info, helped me solve the problem so I won't need the film. Now that's customer service! By the way, if you go directly to the company, you can get the film tinted and it will be as effective. The bronze tinted looks nicer than the white.

For the most part, it seems to be working for the birds, but not for me. It blocks way more of my view than the description suggests. I also don't like that it's white on the exterior. It's an eye sore from the outside.

My birds and I are SO happy with this product! I had previously ordered the clear version, thinking this would work and be less distracting appearing from the outside, but the birds kept right on crashing into the window, their poor little feathers sticking to the collidescape coating to mark the crash point. The windows are not far from my bird feeders, and I was determined to not lure them to my feeders only to have them injuring themselves flying into the windows, so I tried the white version. It is very easy to apply (nothing like those impossible cell phone and tablet screen savers), and it is amazing how unobtrusive the view is through them from the inside. In fact, the white version looks better from the inside of the house than the clear version (which I do not understand)- you can hardly tell they are there and I can get a clear view of my birds at the feeders. The white coating on the windows does not look bad at all on my white house. I was afraid the opaque window covering wood look like I had boarded up the windows, but they actually still look like windows except that the glare that fools the bird into flying into them is no longer there. Product did not stick to window for long so you need to tape at corners but with tape added product worked well. Besides deterring bird strikes it provides nice privacy while allowing light in so overall happy with product
