Fails open …..Not!
This is the second day I have used the car after installing this thermostat as a preventive maintenance measure. That was a bad move on the first day I was watching the water temp and noticed it was opening around 190-195. Today my warning light came on and I looked at the temp gauge it said 260. The car came home on a roll back I went and rented a car thinking there is no way the “fail safe thermostats failed” but it did. I got it home boiled and baked it at 225 it didn’t open. I went to Oreily and got a Murray brand car works like it should.Thanks for almost locking my hemi up !!!Don’t buy this thinking it is going to save your motor. It won’t. It cost me over $375 today. Junk junk junk

This does not fit the 3.6 penstar thermostat housing using
This does not fit the 3.6 penstar engine. And my motor broke because of it not working as it doesn't fit the thermostat housing. The fact that they let ppl sell these without checking if they are cheating ppl goes to show how much Amazon has changed
