How much can you say about two pieces of steel designed for a specific purchase that does the job? Definitely well made, removed the tension off of the garage door bar easily, and showed no signs of deflecting. I am sure they will last a long time, even if used by professionals every day. Highly recommend.

I bought these bars to replace my old, rusty bars. The bar tips fit the tensioner perfectly. The grip is awesome for both bare hands and gloved hands. In 4 years I have used them twice here at home and helped 4 or 5 neighbors adjust their spring tension.They are rust free here in north Florida … 👍🏻

Had to redo the tension on my garage door springs, and needed to use these bars which allowed me to set it without fear of a normal rod breaking on me. Extremely sturdy, did not bend at all, even towards the end of the 31 quarter turns I had to do for my garage springs.

Knurled on one end for a good grip, painted red on the other end to insert into the hole. Heavier knurling would be nice, but we got the job done and done right. These were probably the least expensive spring winders I saw, and since they did the job perfectly, there's no need to spend more money than you have to.

You don't need expensive torsion bars to tighten the springs on your garage door.These were sturdy and more than adequate.

Not sure how much you can hype up two metal bars. They fit the tensioner holes well, and the knurled grip makes them easy to hold, even when you're hands are sweating like made because you're terrified of the spring exploding and taking out your eye, or part of your head. The paint on the ends is not consistent and, at least on my tensioner, did not like up with the edge of the hole when I put them in, so not sure what the purpose is. But in any case, these do the job.

I dislike the bars due to their false measurement12mm instead of 12.7 meaning I can't use them on the torsion spring holes.The red markings are gone and completely faded.I am very disappointed

It's a bar so not alot to like or dislike. I was happy with the grips on the bars, gave me a good hold on the bar, you'll need it.Did the job and didn't impale myself so I'm happy. Super fast delivery

Paid 18$ for them. Fine materials. With paint markings at the tips, but sloppy enough to let me decide to put a small strip of (yellow) tape around them to indicate how far they would sink. Safety first - can't rely on the paint markings. These rods will not bend nor break. The grip really adss a dimension to using these, considering they're just two pieces of metal rod.

First off the Ad description states 18” bars, but the packages clearly indicates 16”, though yes the overall length is 17.5…. I specifically choose the longest set possible.Secondly, the painted tips are a joke! Obviously the bars were laying in a row and a quick spray of paint laid down (unevenly) on one side only!
