Product did not do job I expected, mfg has been very helpfull in trying to solve my problem even to the point he found me local leather repair serviceI wish all mfg would follow up like this one did

Alright. I’m impressed. Several years ago my now husband and I invested in high quality leather furniture for the family room, declaring we intended to ‘die still using this furniture.’ Flash forward a decade and we found ourselves rescuing a couple of small (travel sized) dogs. As it turns out, one of them occasionally decides to get onto the chair or couch and ‘nest’ in our absence. I had somewhat rejuvenated the injuries (which were about 1 foot in diameter, very vigorously scratched, removing all of the wax) with the product the furniture maker recommended a couple of times, but it was really about an 80% fix. She recently did it again and after an overly stern disciplinary session, I started looking for something better. I gave this product a chance and was impressed the very first night that I tried it. The furniture is quite large, so I ordered a second bottle and a cotton buffing ball to use on a low speed drill to alleviate some of the elbow grease in the buffing step. I don’t think the over engineered buffing step is even necessary. I have now rejuvenated every surface of the chair and the top of the 6’ long ottoman. The couch is next. All told, about a 98% fix (I have both a keen eye and a fixation on the little dog’s error in judgement, so 98% is nothing to sneeze at).

For the price it didn't last long and the effect was only ok while it lasted. There are better products to be found.

I used another product on a leather chair and managed to spill it, which took some of the polish off of the chair. I tried to repair with a second product, and only made it worse. I contacted this seller, and asked him whether he felt another product he was advertising would help. He asked for pictures of the chair, and after he received them he said he thought that that product would be too easily absorbed at this point, and recommended Wax It. Wax It worked beautifully! It helped to restore the finish, and it evened out the coloring of this very neglected leather chair. It was very easy to use. You just apply a little of it, rub it in, then shine it after it has dried. It dried fairly quickly, and shined beautifully when polished. It is not sticky or slippery, and does not have a strong odor the way the other cleaners did. The entire chair just required about an eigth of the bottle, so, though it seems expensive, it was truly worth it. I would recommend this to anyone, without reservations.

I was a bit skeptical. Ok. I was really skeptical. My bomber leather looked destroyed beyond repair. My dog likes to scratch and try to dig at my sofa as she gets comfy. It took almost an entire bottle of the product (3 coats), a little patience and a car buffer with a new cotton pad, but my leather sofa looks new again.

I would give it 0 stars - it didn't do anything.

Great protector for pull-up aniline leather. Have gone thru 7 different products and this is the first one that actually works. Water beads up and runs off. Leather on a jacket, an ottoman, and a satchel case did not darken. Leather remains soft and supple. VERY HAPPY with Wax IT! Will be buying it again. It is great on this type of leather.
