The Ghost in the Shell Vol. 1 [Kodansha Bilingual Comics] [In English and in Japanese]

This is the best edition out there. Just buy it. It is not the censored version. If you are a stickler for completeness then this one is for you.

It came in perfect condition. It was wrapped in a clear plastic so it didn’t have scratches. I definitely will be ordering more from the seller again.

Only manga I own and it's worth it. Make sure yours is the uncensored version it does take away from the story.

The quality of printing was brilliant. The panels were easy to read and view. When Darkhorse comics published this in the in America the pages were over-contrasted and heavy on ink. These pages look beautiful now. Thank Kodansha for your attention to detail. Great printing. :)

Came in earlier than expected. A bit pricey but well worth it seeing as it uncensored in all its original glory when it was first released.

This is a great book I recommend it to fans of manga and anime fans.

I see why the series garnered so much appeal. It combines societal, technological, and religious aspects into a complex contemplation of the future.

I love GiTS TV and movies. This edition of the manga includes the sex scene censored in other English editions, which is why I bought it for my first read through. However, the print is too small to read comfortably. I will likely need to buy another edition if I want to read it again. It’s gives me a headache, and the sex scene isn’t worth the hassle of trying to make out this tiny text.

i've owned this book twice and i cannot read it to the end. i love the art but the story is very dense. i mean, it's good, but a challenge.

海外の友達のプレゼントとして購入しました。 プレゼントなのでじっくり読んだわけではありませんが、カラーのページが多かったり 絵がキレイなので、買って良かったと思いました。 1943円をコミックに出すのは高いな...と思っていましたが、届いてみると思ったより 分厚く大きかったので納得しました。 ただ、私(20代・女性)にとっては、性的描写がきわどくて驚きました... プレゼントとして総合的に星四つほど満足しています。

英語の勉強と思って購入 何度も読んで部分的に諳んじてたりするのに、英語で読んでもわからない テクニカルタームが多すぎるのか、私の語彙が少なすぎるのか 繰り返し読むと語彙が増えそうですが、果たしてこの漫画に出てくる単語を覚えても使う機会があるのか？ 欄外の注釈までご丁寧に訳してあります まあ私はそこまで読む気がおきないのですが

Probably good for japanese readers trying to learn english, but not the other way (english reader learning japanese) because it doesn’t have furigana to aid reading kanjis.
