If Carlsberg did water filter jugs...

It's nice to have a jug that's not plastic. And mostly the alternative is glass, but when the jug full of water has to be lifted it is bound to be heavy, and it seems likely at some point a glass one will get broken. This stainless steel one looks very good as well, and doesn't take up much worktop space. Only point against it, am sure it must be a bit more effective if water filters down through, as opposed to the filter bag just sitting in the body if the jug. The improvement in the taste of the water is very noticeable however. So generally very pleased so far.

A well made, sturdy and good looking jug. I avoid plastics like the plague, so am always looking for alternatives. I was a bit worried about some of the other reviews saying it rusted, or the handle deteriorated - however although I have only had it for a week or two, I can’t fault it so far. It looks great, pours well, and the taste of the water with the recommended filters is fantastic, much better than my previous filter jug. No rust so far! Love the look of it too. I will report back if any problems occur, but so far, I highly recommend this jug. UPDATE: I’ve now had this jug for 18 months and my family have used it throughout every day since then. There is absolutely no sign of rust, as other reviewers have mentioned, and it looks as good as the day I bought it. Easy to clean, robust, long lasting, looks great, and no plastic. We’re happy!

I bought this to get away from plastic ones, and to be honest there is not a lot of choice, I have always previously used Brita filter jugs. I liked the look of this as well and the reviews were largely positive so I went for it, and I am so glad I did. It looks as stylish in real life as on line, it is simplicity itself to use, just pop the filter bag into the jug, fill with water wait one minute and drain, refill and leave for 3 minutes and you are ready to go. It is beautifully balanced in your hand with the wooden handle, pours so much easier than my previous jugs and fill as quickly. I did it to avoid plastic and realised I have been missing a far superior system all along.

I brought this jug as I thought I would be getting clean clear water that was better then the tap water but I was shocked that it was worse quality then my tap as I have a water meter it’s was green from the tap and red in the jug so I’m returning it as I don’t know what’s in the filter to cause that

It's a worthy buying. I don't have any device or chemical to check water quality but I can confirm that the Water tastes very soft and way better than general tap water. Very easy to use, excellent design and finishing.
