J O #2 is the best....it has just the right amount of ingredients. It is a little heavy on the salt but it doesn't have the grainy feel that some other seafood seasoning have. My good too for steamed crabs and shrimp

My local grocery stores always seemed to be out of Old Bay lately, and I was starting to get frustrated. I looked around on both Amazon and Ebay, and the price for a 6-ounce container was laughably expensive. Then I saw this 7.5 lb container here on Amazon for a reasonable price, so I bought it. LOL, I may not have to buy Old Bay again for a year, despite how much I use it (a lot). The container is huge! The quality is just like the 6 oz containers, so it's the same taste my husband and I love. Fortunately, I still had one of my 6 oz containers with just a few shakes left, so I filled up that one from the big jug. It's actually very economical buying the 7.5 lb container, but only if you use it often. I don't know if this has an expiration date, but I have it in a cool dry pantry. And like I said, I do use it a lot in my cooking. I am very happy with my purchase.
