Feuerzangenbowle
This is what I do with the Sugar cone..... heat with chafing burner: redwine, star anise, oranges ๐ with cloves (lemon if you like), cinnamon sticks and light up sugar cone with rum so it drips caramelized into warm/hot red spiced wine. It's German and called Feuerzangenbowle. Will try to add picture later when alight. Photo is from prep work.

Came broken. What a bummer. I couldn't tell it was broke in the middle prior to unwrapping it. Was supposed to be for NYE.

All six cones arrived intact
I really had hoped for the best and not having to write a negative review so I can honestly say Iโm very pleased they arrived unbroken. Although I donโt know how that happened because the packaging wasnโt great in protecting them. Needless to say I feel very lucky. I havenโt used any yet since Iโm still waiting for the tongs to arrive any day now. My German husband will be so surprised and very happy when he sees the whole set up with the bowl, sugar cone and tongs. Weโve watched many times of the preparing and drinking this wonderful punch in person at German Christmas markets over the years Lots of YouTube vids to make sure we do it right. Even have the Stroh 160 rum on hand. You need a high alcohol liquor to keep it lit. Canโt wait! Buying the bowl and tongs separately saved $45.

Sugar Cones for Fire Tong Punch
2 of these were broken when they arrived but they are still usable (just not as impressive to watch burn). Super cool though to use with a fire tong punch bowl (also purchased from Amazon)

Ein Zuckerhut! This item is mainly known by hardcore German Christmas fans and a must if you want to have a nice dinner with Feuerzangen Bowle and watch the movie with the same name and actor Heinz Ruehmann. Thanks to Amazon's shipping method, this item came "unbroken" and I was able show my Californians how it melted in my Feuerzangen Bowl set while adding rum and firing it up! Again, a must-have item for this recipe. Thank you, Amazon, for allowing me to show some old German Tradition in sunny California

Wonderful fun
I'm just happy I can get these. The cone we've used so far was broken at the end, but it came a long way. If you've never had burnt punch, I can recommend it enough. It is such a fun part of the holidays. We will be melting the second cone this week for Christmas. We used the first at Thanksgiving.

Completely broken
The sugar cone was in tiny little pieces, totally unusable. Waste of money, not like in the picture.
