Great Backpacking Tent Light
I purchased this light to use as a dome light in my tent while backpacking. I chose it for three reasons: 1. It's lightweight; 2. It uses AAA batteries (the same as my head lights); 3. It has several settings for brightness. This light works very well for this purchase. It mounted to the top loop in my REI Half Dome 2 Plus without a problem, the light had varying levels of intensity that were suitable for the situation, it was small and lightweight, and it did not dim or otherwise go out over approximately 8 total hours of use. It has found a permanent place in my backpack's lighting kit. My only complaint about this light is that you have to click through each setting, and the last two settings are emergency strobe settings. It can be slightly annoying to have the strobe go off, but that's not enough of an annoyance to give anything less than five full stars to this product.

Nice for the Price
I bought a 2-pack of these lights to temporarily light my dining room table. They hang from the existing dead light fixture by their cute little handles. The light diffuses nicely from them. Could be a little brighter, but they are bright enough to eat by. There are two brightness settings and a blinking setting, too. The only thing I don't like about them is that you have to cycle through all of the modes to turn them off. These would probably be great for camping tent lights, which is what I'll likely use them for if I can ever afford to get the dining room light fixture repaired or replaced.

Small, bright and lightweight but batteries run hot!
These lights are small enough to fit in the palm of your hands, bright enough to illuminate an person tent or the table at a campsite. They have a retractable hook to hang from tent, carabiner, backpack, etc. There a bright enough to take the place of our larger camping lanterns, especially if you’re using 2-3 at a time around camp. Cons: we used Duracel AAA batteries with these lights and they still ran incredibly hot. For that reason I would only use them to light spaces temporarily, a few minutes at a time max! I would be worried about a fire hazard if used any longer. Additionally, they turn on easily if packed in a backpack so maybe remove the batteries when not in use.

Good light but goes through batteries very quickly
These little lights put out quite a bit of light. Just one lights our tent enough to play games, but in about an hour it dims to half power and you can't see well enough to do anything.

Convenient, but cheaply made
I love these lights and they are super bright and convenient. But these are VERY cheaply made. I have used these on one camping trip and they're doing great. But I really don't expect these to last long. For example, I was having trouble twisting the cap off to access the battery compartment and after some force, it opened, only to realize that I had been twisting it in the wrong direction and... it still just broke free and opened in a super cheap way. But what do you expect for the price?

Perfect for so many uses
These little lights are surprisingly bright and work really well for camping or emergency use. We keep some in all the places now. They hold up really well as well

Very flimsy & break easily
I bought these compact little camp lights, hoping that they would be perfect in my tent. One of them never worked, and the other broke within its first week of use. The casing on these is a cheap plastic, which does not hold up to camping. I was very gentle with these, and they still failed. I am an experienced camper and have used numerous other brands without any of these issues. I purchased these because they looked compact and easy to use. They were easy to hang, as was turning them off and on. Steer clear of these little guys. It is like throwing money in the wind to purchase them.

Perfect lightweight small lights
These put off a great amount of light for their size. They are nice, compact, bright. They were perfect for camping. Lots of bright light on high and was a perfect nightlight for my kids on low. Totally recommend.
