So I have been using the Nanit camera ever since my son was born which requires a very strong internet connection. Well, we moved to a place where we pretty much have no internet, rendering my Nanit camera useless. So we bought this so that I can still see our son sleeping and check on him without having to open his super annoying door, risking waking him up. The picture quality is decent for what it is, I cant really complain. Its obviously not high def or anything but I can see him and I can actually see him breathing as well. The battery life isnt as long as I would like it to be but its no issue having it plugged in. The range is great. I love the large screen size. Im giving this 5 stars because it does what it is supposed to do and does what the manufacturer says it will. Its no out of this world monitor but it will do.

We have been very happy with our purchase of the baby monitor. It is greatly used and doesn't need wifi to keep going which we loved. The battery life last about a day if you leave it on all day, but if you turn it off when you aren't using it, it last a couple of days. The setup was extremely easy. We ended up mounted the camera on the wall which was difficult at first and not a fan of the wire showing, but I would still recommend. The range works well when we go outside to work and the sound quality is surprisingly strong/loud.

I love this camera. But it does have flaws. I love the big screen. I HATE how loud it is when you have the music/white noise playing. Can’t even hear your baby over that! You have to have the camera very high up to be able to see almost the entire crib. I like to be able to see the whole crib. The picture quality is not the best but could be worse. It’s also not very loud. So if you are asleep and want to know if your baby is kinda whining this may not be the best because it’s hard to hear sometimes. I have had mine glitch with the sound bar a few times. But other than all of that I like this camera and will continue to use until I don’t need it anymore or until it breaks. It would be nice if the cords were a little longer since you have to mount it so high up.

Very basic. Not a lot of changeable features that you would think are standard. For example, you cannot stay zoomed in on one camera longer than a few seconds before it returns to side by side mode. You cannot keep the parent device on longer than 10 seconds without it going into sleep mode with no way to shut those features off. The camera area also sucks. It doesn’t even show the whole crib and I had to mount the camera far up on the wall to even see half of the crib. Crazy in this day and age that there’s not better zoom in and out features. The night mode does work very well but quality overall is not the best. Would expect more since this is the upgraded model and not the basic cheapest one. I do like that it doesn’t need to be connected to the internet though.

I absolutely love this camera moniter combo. Its been 3 years and ive used it with 2 kids the angles could be improved but with a little finaggling and adjusting its perfect. It doesn't need wifi to work and you can go pretty dang far with the monitor. I've never had it cut out but im kindof a helicopter mom so I dont go far either.

I ordered this monitor because I really liked the features, but some of the most important features stopped working almost immediately, and the display screen had a line through it as soon as we turned it on. We set it up so the display screen would turn on and alert us if one of our kids cried, but otherwise remain off to conserve battery power and not increase light pollution in our bedroom at night. Well, that feature stopped working during the first month we had it. It wouldn't alert us or even turn on when our kids cried, so now we have to keep the display screen on constantly. This runs the battery down really fast, and means that there's a bright light in our room at night when we're trying to sleep. Not long after that, the temperature feature for both monitors stopped working properly. The monitor in my son's room stopped working entirely. The other monitor in my daughter's room continually says 79 degrees, even though we've verified with a thermometer that it's cooler than that most of the time. Our upstairs bedrooms get warm during the summer so we really liked this feature since it not only let us know if their rooms were comfortable, but you can also set it to alert you if it rises above a certain temperature. Neither of these functions are working anymore. When I reached out to V-Tech customer support, it took weeks to hear back from them. They want me to send the malfunctioning monitor in BEFORE they send me a replacement. So I'm supposed to live without a baby monitor for my kids for a few weeks? I'm not comfortable with that. Overall, I'm completely unimpressed with the product's durability and the customer service provided by the company.

We bought this after my father-in-law had a stroke. It really got us through the first 6 months and we also discovered he needed a sleep study.

Not impressed with the video camera quality on the monitor

We have had this monitor for over two years now and have nothing but great things to say. We own a 10 acre acreage and this monitor stays connected anywhere on the property. We keep the monitor plugged in while not in use and have had no trouble with battery life. I can not recommend this monitor enough if you live in the country or like to go camping!

Great monitor for travel. I purchased this as a travel monitor and it gets the job done. The picture is great and so is the range but the battery is horrible. Make sure you can be near a charger as the battery goes fast.
