Works great on mesquite!
Works on mesquite--hard to kill-- provided you clear, bury all roots. A year later, no sprouts. Amazing.

Product works good but this last delivery had a leaky bottle..

This stuff works really well. I was skeptical at first, but tried it on three small trees with 3-inch diameter trunks. Cut them off at the base with a sabersaw, chopped up the remaining stump with an axe to increase the surface area, and sprayed this product on. After 2.5 weeks looks like the stumps are dead and don't see any new shoots attempting to sprout.Update: so far I have used this to kill off 7 rubbish trees on my lot ranging in trunk diameter from 2" to 8", using the technique above. I transfer the solution to a spray bottle to facilitate application. Keep in mind this product is sensitive to light so I wrap the spray bottle in aluminum foil during storage.If anybody has dealt with guinea grass before, that is a $#@&%! You can cut off the stalks just above the ground, but the root clumps are thick and rooty. From the topside, I can't even penetrate the clump with a pickaxe! It just bounces off the root mass up to 3" from the clump. I tried spraying the clump with Roundup but it won't kill it off. What works is to take a hatchet to divide up the root clumps into smaller sections, then spray this stump killer on it. After a couple of weeks, I can pry out the clumps using a CobraHead long handle weeder/cultivator tool.

Works if you use a lot
It worked on some if you pure the almost the complete bottle on the fresh cut area. It will not work if you use it with water mix.

Works!
100% effective on woody vines. Must cut and then apply to vine vs. leaf. Used two phased approach. First cut with mower and sprayed 50:50 fertilome/water in hand spray bottle. Waited a few weeks and then hand clipped remaining vines and sprayed. Thrilled to have that massive creeping vine GONE!

Don’t waste your money!
I tried this product on three different stumps in my yard. I poured the product slowly into the top of the stump, it was soaked up pretty quickly. Nothing has changed with the stump. Try a different product because this one didnt work!
