Bought 4 of these sliding pants racks, 2 for my closet and 2 for husband's closet. Boughts several other accessories to go along with the two closet systems we bought and this was by far the trickiest to install. Instructions seemed easy enough but for some reason it just wasn't that easy to get it into the uprights. I actually ended up bending one of the brackets when one side fell. I got it straightened and installed eventually. Nice that the rack glides in and out. Make sure your closet doors will not block the unit when it is slid out. In my closet there was only one section of the uprights that it could work in an 8-foot closet. The pants rack holds 7 pairs of slacks which my husband thinks is a waste of space. Horizontally it may seem wasteful but it actually saves space vertically as there is not the extra inches taken up by hangers. You can also put two pairs of pants on each rod if the material isn't that thick. Overall, I really like the sliding pants rack, just be careful installing it.

I purchased the Rubbermaid closet organizer and I am extremely happy with it. But this pants rack did not work well with the organizer. It arrived bent but I was able to bend it back so it could be used. The problem with this pants rack is that when you pull it out you need a lot of room in your closet. It also takes up a lot of room on the organizer for only 7 pairs of pants. You are better off just using hangars on the bars that come with the closet organizer. It gets two stars because it is well made but you better have a roomy closet and not need to hang up very many pants or you will have to purchase multiple racks. I sent it back.

Great product. I can hang all my belts, headbands and scarves. It slides to the front for a better view and it takes very little space in the closet. My closet looks really custom with this product, baskets and pant rack from Rubbermaid.

This unit is not as well constructed as the main system. The sliding rack attaches to the mounting arms with a single metal screw, and is expected to hold the weight of several parts of pants. Shortly after installing, the screw the out of the metal arm, bending the sheet metal, and snapped off a retaining clip, which rendered the unit unusable. I have had no issues with the seller or Amazon, only the unit itself.

Let me start by saying that I love the configurations system. Its easy to set up, strong and flexible. This is a perfectly serviceable piece within the system. My main problem with it is that its a very inefficient use of space. I could easily fit twice as many pants in the space using hangers. Its also finicky about placement since you need room to slide it out. I wouldn't buy t until you know just where you want to put it in your system and then make sure you've got the room to slide it out clear of doors and furniture. Otherwise, it works as intended and the rollers work smoothly.

This is a great compliment to the Rubbermaid 3H89 Configurations 4-to-8-Foot Deluxe Custom Closet Kit, Titanium . I added it just below a set of shelves and they hold my dress pants crease free. It slides in and out easily with no resistance, and does exactly what it should do, hold pants.

This system plugs in super easily to an existing Rubbermaid organizer. It is super handy for the kids to hang their pants on. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is the slider for pulling rack in and out is a little stiff.

Kinda thick and heavy , expensive

Sturdy enough but instruction to install was not clear. It took a while to figure out the correct way to tighten the screws.
