I've used this for recording panel discussions and it's great to be able to pan to the person speaking (in post through software). Also nice for recording ambiences. Not too sure about really loud source sounds. Works great. A bit fragile! Buy a case for it.

This is the neatest, most practical, highest quality little recorder I have ever owned! Put it on a high stand, turn it on, connect to it with your iPhone, record for hours in Ambisonics A. Then take it home, download to your computer, turn it into any of several formats to enable you to listen in surround, stereo, binaural, or Dolby 5.1 surround. It doesn't get any better than this!

Great mic with two caveats.1. This mic picks up everything! If you are hold it on a stick (like I am with a 360 camera) be prepared that it picks up every hand movement. The mics are poorly isolated and recommend using something to isolate the microphone.2. Is only 24bit and not 32 bit float. It does have a limiter which is very useful but it should be updated to support 32-bit float audio recordings.

This recorder really records up to 4 mics, so it is ease of use for me. The 360-degree VR ambisonics mic works functionality. All I need is two AA batteries and a micro SD card between 32 to 512gb of storage size. I like it.

H3 control app isn't on android... it's always something... always ONE thing about every product on earth shafting someone... i didn't even think to check.. every other control app they have is on android... except the H3 app. wtf. fml. you think you know someone... wait, what was i talking about?Yeah you can't press record remotely without an iPhone! WHAT?! That's totally wack. No wired remote adapter for the BT slot. No control over USB on PC. Nothing. Can you emulate an ipod on pc? I don't want to set up any account with Apple! I don't know if I you want a BT antenna on an ambisonic microphone... these things HEAR rf!No remote means you edit file.. every single time you must cut the start and finish off yourself. You'll never get a clean start or finish on the SD card without an apple device...W A C K

I was nervous about spending the money for this purchase but I am now very happy I did. I get exceptionally high quality recordings from this audio recorder; much less white noise.

Es muy facil y sencillo grabar con este microfono. La simbiosis de este producto y el BTA-1 es muy buena y permite un buen control y monitoreo durante la grabación.Los algoritmos del programa de Zoom no son los mejores pero son bastante decentes para iniciar. Si necesitas algo mejor, compra el plugin de waves o programa el tuyo en MATLAB.Excelente relacion calidad-precio.
