Middle Earth Map Lord of The Rings Mug - Morph Magic Heat Changing Coffee Tea Cup

Had an issue with delivery, nothing to do with seller only royal mail but the seller sorted it for me straight away. The mug itself is of great quality and lovely detail on the map once it has heated up.

Brillian gift for any LoTR fans

Bought this 3 months ago. The black coating that turns into the map when heated chips off really easily. Mine is already scratched and chipped. Maybe a good novelty item but not suitable for everyday use as the quality is not great.

I've had this mug for a year, and, although it get used daily, it gets washed by hand, and never harshly treated, or put in a dishwasher. Unfortunately the outer layer, which shows the map, has started to peel off, as you can see in the pictures. Its getting to the point where I will have to throw it away, as the peeling is also round the top, and I don't want to swallow any of that material. Pity! It's a good sized mug, spoiled by faulty materials.

It needs to be clarified that this mug ONLY shows the map when it is heated with a hot drink. Otherwise it is completely black.

I was looking for a sizable mug to replace a previous Christmas present, unfortunately, when this arrived it was clearly a very poor quality cash-in on LotR. The shots on the website are very careful too high the fact that the map does not cover a significant area near the handle

A rather expensive black mug with an underwhelming map that appears when very hot liquid is poured into it - not, I'm afraid, quite as beautiful and defined as the product photo. The product page shows the mug in all it's 'glory'. Had there been a second photo of the black mug in its natural black, funereal state, I may well have continued on my search for a rather more pictorially appealing mug which tried to look interesting even when empty. On the plus side, I suppose if you can sit inside the dishwasher while it's being washed, you may get an extended pictorial experience.

This was a present to my grandson, over the moon with the quality of the map when he used it for a cup of tea, very happy and pleased.
