Pretty but mediocre quality
These candle holders are pretty, if not the best quality. Size is somewhere between a baseball and a softball. The finish is a soft, brushed gold, very pretty and on-trend. The finish is not real uniform, as if the underlying color was silver and they didn't get sprayed evenly on both sides. One side is more winter gold, the other side is more of a soft brass. The transition is not an abrupt one so for my uses I kinda like how I can choose the softer or brassier side but it's something to be aware of. The non-slip feet are cheap and easily visible, so I removed them. The part that holds the tea light is very shallow, only about 1/2", and sloped inward instead of straight up and down. I don't put my standard size tea lights in them because I don't like how they look popping out of the top. These candle holders would be particularly pretty as part of winter holiday or wedding decor. From a little distance they look quite elegant sitting on a table or shelf, but I would not give them as a gift.

Decent but too expensive for what you get
These are beautiful. Pretty heavy and good quality. I feel they are way over priced for the size. Def nice tho. I would recommend if they were cheaper.

Classic design
I like the over all design- modern yet classic. Nice muted/ neutral shade of gold. I use it on my coffee table year round.

Pretty cute but lots of finishing errors, tea light sits very high up.
I love candles and use them in every room. I have a lot of tea light holders. These gold globes are pretty from a distance. Up close they have some quality issues with finishing....large globs of gold or areas that didn’t get painted. Also the tea light sits up very high, almost out of the holder. I’m more used to tea lights sitting a bit more securely into the holder. Decorative with secure bases. I’d not buy these for a gift since I would worry about the finishing issues.

Eh
Decent gift but nothing special.

Decent decor.
This round, golden tea light set seems to work well when displayed in areas that people won't see it all up close and personal. It has a hand-made look to it, but not in a way that is overly unique to me, and some of the "flaws" really almost come across to me as a little sloppy. I believe the overly glossy finish really contributes to that, as well. While I expected them to be shiny, they were even shinier in person. While I obviously expected them to be golden, they're even more "golden" in person - to the point of looking kind of brassy in an unflattering way under a lot of lighting conditions. I don't know - I was conflicted on giving this 3 or 4 stars, but settled on 4, because I found a really good spot for them in a area that doesn't get a lot of bright light, where they actually really look good. It's more difficult to see them too closely in that space, the gloss doesn't look as glossy right there, and from a slight distance, they even look beautiful. I'm actually really happy with them in that spot. This is just one of those decor items that can look really bad, or look fantastic, based on the lighting and other decor/colors surrounding it. They're not something you can just place anywhere, without something complementing them, in my opinion. They're sturdy enough, the quality seems fine, and with tea lights in them, they emit a warm glow. I think if they perhaps didn't use such a super high gloss sheen to them, it would really change the whole dynamic - that type of finish reflects light in weird and unflattering ways, and can really turn an otherwise beautiful object into something cheap-looking and garish, sometimes. If you take all these items into consideration and have exactly the right spot for them, these can add a nice touch to the space. If you're thinking of giving them as a gift, I would make sure that the person you are giving them to has a space like that, as well. This is definitely a hit or miss type thing, so your mileage may vary.

A couple issues some might not care for, but I love them
- Made in China - They have a bit of weight to them, so aren't easy to tip over - Small enough to go with a pretty tablescape and not block conversation - You can feel the texture, they're not smooth - There are finish flaws inside the tealight pan but they won't be visible if you keep a tealight in it so I'm not fussed about it (see pic, you decide) - Bottom rim is unfinished but there's 3 soft feets stuck on. Easy to remove, because they're much too visible. Just paint the bottom with clear nail polish. - Some sort of pottery, hollow The only thing I'm not sure about is that the tealights sit at the top. I can't help but think I'd have liked the glow down inside the holder, but being up like that almost looks like the whole thing is actually a candle, so it doesn't look bad. One thing to note - the listing info is calling these silver, but the tealight pan is clearly gold and I frankly would have called the whole thing gold. At certain angles, you can see some silver, but even then there's still some gold. I tested that under 3 different light types, too. Maybe this is one of those silly internet things - some see silver and some gold. I see both, and I think they're pretty, so I'm good either way.
