Sorry I waited so long to replace my old blade. My paper cuts are coming out flawlessly once again. The last Brother blade I used lasted about 4 years. I used it to cut paper and vinyl. Will make sure to use a separate blade for each going forward. I trust the brand and will stick to Brother blades. I recommend this product. Replacement auto blade for Brother Scan n cut DX machine

Bought as a spare blade for my Brother DX 225
I bought this blade as a spare for my Brother DX 225 machine. Love the Auto-blade in the DX series, takes all the guessing away. It checks the mat height and then depth of the material before cutting, it is a pretty cool cutting scanner plotter. Unlike the previous series where the blade height was specified by the user. It is smarter than the Cricut Maker where you have to tell it the program what material you're going to cut.

Great auto blades. I’ve used these before with my Scan n Cut and they really last thorough the most difficult cuttings of ultra heavy card stock, glitter paper, paper-backed burlap, etc. A must have for my craft room.
