Beautiful knife, well made. Handle is very well made, feels good and solid in the hand. Just need to perfect the sharpness like in all new knives

One of my favorite knives. Love the drop point hunter design and Damascus blade.

I did not buy this knife for much real or hard use. I bought it for its beauty and to add to my collection. That doesn’t mean it might not be used at some point. I gave it a 3 star in craftsmanship for four main reasons that are pictured. Because none of the craftsmanship issues effected the working ability of the knife I chose not to rate it lower. There were tooling marks on one of the dark handle sections. When you look at the spine of the knife the bone and black colored sections don’t align evenly. Also, when you look at the spine the metal isn’t perfectly straight or even. Where the handle and heel of the knife meet the workmanship is pretty rough and unfinished. Any craftsman or artisan who takes any amount of pride in their work would not overlook these types of details in their work. Despite these craftsmanship flaws it is still a lovely knife. I will say that from other reviews I had read I expected it to be much worse than it is and was prepared to package it back up and return it. The different color sections of the handle align smoothly and neatly with the brass sections that separate the different colored sections. The brass rivets/pins are smoothly, neatly and evenly ground and aligned in the handle. I love the Damascus look of the blade. I may never know if it is real Damascus because I may never give it serious use. I know the price and value of a truly good knife. For the money I spent I got about what I can expect. I have no real complaints. It has a sharp edge. There are no burrs or obvious flaws in the edge. It is riveted full tang and feels pretty sturdy. I like the heavy leather taco style sheath. I like the feature that offers the option of carrying a striker. Looking at the striker sheath, I’m not sure if there is enough room in it for a striker, but it looks nice. The stitching on the sheath is evenly and well done with heavy duty thread. It has a double row of stitching. I like that the knife came in a plastic bag with oil in it. The oil wasn’t overdone, just enough to make sure the knife was in an environment that didn’t promote corrosion and offered additional protection.

Oh everything about this knife is well made. I enjoyed it so much I bought everybody in my family one.

Bad knife, rusty up and down the tang of the knife, etched in finger prints on one site of blade scratches on the other side, pins that hold on handle are raised and uncomfortable to hold

As others have mentioned, this is not real Damascus steel but is instead laser etched. My handle had obvious tool marks and was missing a final polish. The blade is also remarkably thick. Sharpening in the future will be a chore. The blade is also a bit shorter than in the advertised photos. Definitely better value for the price out there.

This knife is a sleeper because the quality is unbelievable for the price. Good looking to boot. Had to buy some for gifts. Sharp blade, soft supple yet substantial leather. This is a no brainer.

To get this quality of knife made with real Damascus. Normally cost a lot more than what they're selling for.. Excellent!

Xmas gift for my husband. He loves it

The brass strips separating the handle segments are to large and cot into your hands. The blade however is nice.

I like the knife it looks beautiful if youre not expecting perfection...the few FLAWS i dislike about it are minor for a first knife online..the handle was NOT FINISHED having SHARP edges on the spacers and little GAPS in them and a CRACK in the handle that looks like it was filled with resin but im not sure..HAD to get it sharpened and it is still only just sharp cant shave hairs on my arm like i would like to see..but still as a first online knife and none others to compare it to i like the value. EDIT after first and second use....so as mentioned the handle seemed unfinished and as a result the knife BROKE, I have 5 dollar knives that have been put through far more abuse than this,for a bushcraft knife this is NOT ACCEPTABLE ...also im pretty sure the blade is damascas but its WELDED on to the handle. DO NOT BUY FROM POSHLAND!! Also if you want to have a replacement sent you had better find out if its durable enough within the 90 days or there is no way to talk with customer service about this? Ive literally gone camping twice with this and it broke second time?

Already falling apart, disappointing.
