Can't close mid-game
Frustrating that you can't close the case mid-game because the pieces are too tall. I would have thought it a basic feature for a travel chess set. You can somewhat mitigate this if you both castle and attack on the queen side. Attractive design.

Disappointing
It’s already been mentioned in previous reviews but this product is poorly designed. The lid cannot be closed due to the depth of the casing and the height of the pieces. Games cannot be continued.

Smart little travel chess set
Nice little budget chess set. Worked a treat to take travelling with us. The pieces are just the right size striking a balance between portability but still big enough to pick up and move around easily. Magnets passed the upside down test for a particularly bumpy journey. Pieces come in a little bag to keep them safe.

A waste of space
Y0U CAN NOT SHUT THE LID WIITH THE PIECES ON THE BOARD . A truly disappointing product. What is the point of travel chess set where you can NOT shut the box with the pieces on the board!!!

まず写真に掲載されているコマの置き方だが、ふた部分を白or黒プレーヤー側にすると、盤の「左手に黒マスが来る」と言うルールから外れる為、プレーヤーの右or左にフタが来るのが正解だと思われる。 コマのサイズはかなり小さく、マグネット式ではあるが、マスの中央にコマを置くのにも苦労する。 ただ携帯して屋外や旅行先で使用するのが最優先であるならば、持ち運びを考えたサイズとしては丁度良く、外観もスタイリッシュであり個人的には気に入っている。
