Fast and Efficient
Although I give this five stars, it is really slightly less than that - but only slightly. My central heating packed in the first week in January. Of course it did. When else would the central heating pack in? I needed something to keep at least one room warm until it was fixed. I bought this because I figured I could use it afterwards for heating the shed for short periods. Anyway, the long and short of it is, I live on my own and this thing heats a 4mX4m room in five minutes. Keep it running for half an hour and the room is habitable for several hours and it costs way less to run than the full central heating for that kind of result. Yes, it's 3Kw and you can see the meter whizzing around, but you only need to use it for short, intermittent periods. As people have said, if you run it for longer periods, the plug DOES get hot. You shouldn't be running it for long periods, though. It is difficult to regulate the temperature in a 4x4 space, but easier in a smaller space. I would not trust it to be left on in a room unsupervised because of the heat it generates and the heat of the plug, but you shouldn't do that anyway. It IS loud, but it has a very strong and efficient fan to blow out the hot air so that is to be expected. It's not perfect, but it close to perfection for it's size, price and specifications. I still use it to heat a room if I don't want to put the central heating on, if I want to dry some clothes on a rack or just to take the edge off a room when I get in from work.

Benros industrial fan
Very nice heater fan takes little bit to warm up at first . Try not to put on same extension lead as another as tends to main fuse and other plugs on that lead until you take out and put on own . Would think as due to too much power going through with all others but on own circuit is graet and gives out good heat . Quite silent for how much used would been bit better if was not as much money but is ok . easy to use .

Powerful and reliable heater that quickly warms up cold workspaces
I bought this Benross 3000W Industrial Fan Heater mainly for use in a garage and workshop during colder months, and it has genuinely made a huge difference to comfort when working in low temperatures. From the first use, it was obvious this heater is designed more for practical performance than just basic household heating. It produces a strong and immediate flow of warm air that heats the space far quicker than smaller domestic heaters I’ve previously used. The build quality feels reassuringly solid and suited to workshop or industrial environments. The metal casing gives it a durable feel, and the overall design looks capable of handling regular use without feeling fragile. Despite the robust construction, it’s still relatively portable thanks to the integrated carry handle, making it easy to move between different rooms, garages or work areas. One of the features I appreciated most is the adjustable thermostat control. It allows you to maintain a comfortable temperature without constantly switching the heater on and off manually. The tilting design is also more useful than expected because it helps direct heat exactly where it’s needed, especially when working at bench level or trying to warm a particular area quickly. The cool air setting is another practical addition. While I originally bought it for winter use, the fan-only mode makes it useful throughout the year for improving airflow in warmer conditions. It adds more versatility than a standard heater and helps justify the space it takes up in a workshop or storage area. In terms of performance, the 3000W output is more than capable for medium-sized spaces. It heats garages, workshops and utility rooms efficiently, and the fan distributes heat evenly rather than concentrating it in one spot. The IPX4 waterproof rating is reassuring too, particularly in environments where there may be moisture, dust or changing temperatures. Noise levels are reasonable considering the power and airflow. It’s noticeable when running, of course, but not excessively loud for an industrial-style heater. The controls are simple and easy to understand without unnecessary complexity. Overall, the Benross 3000W Industrial Fan Heater is a powerful, dependable and versatile heating solution that feels well suited for garages, workshops and demanding environments. It combines strong heating performance with durable construction and practical features, making it excellent value for anyone needing reliable heat in colder working conditions.

DON"T BUY THIS FIRE HAZARD
I purchased this item as it was highly rated (354 positive reviews). From the first day I was underwhelmed how little heat it produced-- felt like a mild hair dryer with a fan-- and advertised as "industrial"! I used this for about 5 days a few hours at a time and to my total surprise as I happened to be near the heater I smelled something like burning plastic. To my total amazement the plug started to melt!!! This is a sealed plug and even the fuse on the plug did NOT blow, but thankfully my circuit board did turn off. This could have resulted in a fire. I contacted the seller on Weds and sent images-- no response so I chased again today and was told they would respond within 48 hours! What a joke-- this seller should be sanctioned for selling a fire hazard AND if this was a one-off they should have immediately offered to replace seeing my images. Even more remarkable that they didn't immediately deal with this given the potential risk!

OK in a well insulated space and occasional use.
I have a small, well-insulated workshop of approx.770 cu ft. It took 25 minutes to raise the temperature from 6 degrees C to 15 degrees C and then held it satisfactorily. OK but no more than that. It would struggle to be effective in my double garage. The operating instructions advise you to “avoid the use of an extension cord as this may lead to overheating.” It does not state this limitation in the online advert and as the existing cable is only 1.5 metres max. that becomes frustrating in a garage environment. The frame and motor housing are solidly made and the control panel is heavy duty plastic and will probably withstand a few knocks. It does not come fully assembled as claimed, although it only takes a few minutes to fix the adjustable stand to the body; the associated knobs and spring washers etc are substantial. The tilt function is really useful and the unit stays in position without worry. Given that the RRP was £94.99 (when I bought it with a 50% discount) it was disappointing not to have dual speed control for the fan. The dual thermostat control is useful but you don’t need full speed fan all the time. The motor is quiet, while the air movement from the fan is the predominate sound although not intrusive. In my opinion, the description as an “Industrial Fan Heater” can only really be applied to the build not the performance. What the operating instructions say but the advert does not is "This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use." I think the advert is misleading in that respect. Good value for money but only at the discounted price.

poor heat
It looks a good size, was easy to built. Very simple to use. Very strong. The biggest let down was the Heat Output. For 3000 watt it would not heat a small wooden garage. I went back to the 2000 watt heater l owned before this. Total waste of £50.

Shouldnt be sold to households
Shouldnt be sold to households. Heating the socket and any trailing lead its plugged into. The cable on the unit wont heat up as its heavy duty heat reducing cable. Feel its needs a dedicated 16a supply not the 13a socket. Its an ideal receipe for a fire starter. DO NOT BUY TO HEAT YOUR HOUSE.
