Perfect for the Manfrotto 393
It was so nice to find a protective case made just for my Manfrotto 393 Heavy Telephoto Lens Support for Monopod - Replaces 3421 I had hoped the tripod head would fit into the case I just purchased, while still attached to the tripod, but alas, it was short by about an inch or two. I thought of returning the case and opting for a larger one, but decided to do a search for a case for the head instead, and was so happy to have found this one.It's nicely padded, with a separate pocket inside for the detachable plate. Will fit comfortably inside the case I bought for the tripod Manfrotto 055XPROB Pro Tripod Legs (Black) and will keep both the tripod legs and the gimbal head from dinging each other and causing damage.The best part? It's made specifically for the Manfrotto 393, so fits perfectly!!

Does the job...mostly
It does hold the tripod mount fine. the photo shows the plate still attached but it really does not fit in the pouch well. To store flat you have to take the mounting plate off. The inside pouch does not have enough space to store the mounting plate and the camera plate. Two inside pockets would have been perfect, especially if they have closure flaps. Also need to have an allen wrench on hand to disassemble so the closure flap on the inside pocket would have kept the allen wrench from getting lost. I will keep using it, unless I get a larger hard case for all my gear. Best option out there for this mount, so I did not have much of a choice to have something to protect it with.

Good pouch for Manfrotto gimbal head
This fits the gimbal head for the Manfrotto gimbal head -- just barely. It's a squeeze to get the head in and close it using the velcro strip. The pouch is well made, but another 1/4 inch would have been nice.

Great price for what it offers
Consider what it offers, compared to others on the market, it is great. At least for what itoffers on this sort of price .

Cheap and flimsy! I expected something a little more durable. Having to take the mounting plate off is the deal breaker for me.
