I am a beginner at making home made soaps so this is feedback from a base I have not used very much but I must say that it is better than all the others I have tried with my limited skills and directions. It melts very easily and soaks up the coloring and scent bends I have added to it. It has such a very tiny scent that I think almost any scent would work with it very nicely. I have not had any problems with this base. I just spray the inside of my mold very lightly with a carrier oil or scent oil and that is what it smells like when it is ready to use. I am still trying lots of other blends with this base and so far it has worked wonderfully with them all. It lathers up nicely and has a very nice moisture level for my very dry chemo skin. All of my soaps made from this base have come out very pretty and the base makes it all so easy.

I had to buy two different goats milk soap base to realize this one is superior. It’s way creamier, melts fast, has a nice color (not white but more cream white). Highly recommend!

I purchased this 5 pound Goat's Milk Soap Base quite a few months ago and I hadn't had a chance to get back to soap making. Yesterday, I opened it up and got to work on some new varieties I wanted to try with this goat's milk base. First off, while splitting up the soap and measuring, this block was OVERweight by almost a quarter pound! Although it has been sitting around for months waiting for me to get started, it cut extremely easy and melted perfectly. It held all my additives and incorporated my oils and natural colorants with no issues. It lathered wonderfully with a perfect amount of sudsing and moisturizing. I am so thrilled with how my soaps turned out with this product and would encourage other soapmakers to give it a try as it is so easy to work with! I will be reordering as well as trying their other soap base varieties.

Amazing soap base, soft and smooth. Used it to make oatmeal and honey soap.

This blend is BIG on lather.....almost too much. I am using it to make shampoo bars. It does leave hair feeling squeaky clean....almost stripped. But its easy to use as a melt and pour. I added Rosemary and Peppermint Essential oils and it blended just fine.

This is the only goats milk soap base I will use. Its it perfect.

I have been watching videos on how to make soap and many show a list of too many ingredients to purchase. I came across a video where they mentioned Goat's milk soap base. Wow, was I surprised that it contains all the oils that I would have needed to purchase separately, and for a better price. Yes, it might seem a little pricey to some, but if you purchase quantity soap at a large retailer, you will pay just about the same. I made this because of the situation we are facing today as a nation, and absolutely love it. I probably will never purchase another bar of soap again. I did not measure the amount I received, but did make 16 bars with the 5 lb bag. Easy to use in the microwave and love that you can add whatever you choose to the bars. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to make their own soap without all the fuss of adding palm, coconut, olive, etc. separately. It was intended to be a body soap, but because the texture is so smooth, it can be used on your face too.
