This UTG Swivel Stud with the picatinny slot adaptor is the solution if you want to mount any kind of quick release mount to non AR style rifles. I specifically use it as an adaptor to mount my non AR hunting rifle to a tripod. It works great for ground hunting. And when I need move location, all I have to do is release the quick release clamp to part the rifle from the tripod. (I will attach pictures when I get a chance)

This kit is included with the UTG bipod I purchased. It is a breeze to install, and holds solid with no twisting. Pros; - Light weight - Easy to install (I added a series of pictures demonstrating) - Has a rubber pad to protect the gun Cons; - It is easy to twist the swivel extension when tightening, you need to hold it with something to keep it true - Only one "groove", they could have fit 2 or 3 in the space - possibly this was done to help stabilize a bipod I really like this kit. I recommend it highly. ** Update ** I liked the kit that came with my bipod so much that I bought another one. The new kit's cross-screw was not centered in the swivel extender. In order to get it to fit I had to drill out the swivel stud on my rifle. Not a huge issue, but something that could be corrected with better quality control at the factory.

The slot adapter fit like a glove on my Remington 597 stock. The rubber cushing on the bottom molds well between the adapter and stock and once tightened down is pretty sturdy and will not move. Does put the sling swivel a good 1-1.5" below the stock. My only complaint, and it is cosmetic only, is that you can see the machine marks all over the metal. It would have been nice if they hit the metal with a back or polish before they coated it.

For a company that gets a lot of crap in the firearm community, this particular product is perfect! Perfect! It meets a need at a superbly affordable price. In cost vs function, this could cost way more. While simple, it offers a solution to a critical issue, which is accessory mounting where it otherwise wouldn't be possible. There are so many platforms and calibers that can benefit from this! First, of course, is the ability to mount a picatinny style bipod. For mobile applications, it provides a sturdy mount for other lights and lasers.

Leapers products are a solid choice but unfortunately this adapter would not work with my BT46-LW17 PSR Atlas Bipod.

I have this adaptor on all 5 of my rifles for use of bipods and gun lights, With and without sling attacked. Easy install and removal on rifle. If you don't have a sling swivel, they are available, inexpensive, and easy to install. I install a second swivel stud 4-5" behind the sling forearm stud for this with bipod attached for sling carry. I attach my 1"round flashlight using a high 1" tube scope mount to clear the stud. This is a no modification to your rifle (if you have the stud already) multi use adaptor for bipods, lights, lasers, etc.. And when installed correctly, is as solid and as strong as the stud it mounts too. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

The Picatinny rail is too wide. My swagger qd 42 would not fit on this item. Do not recommend.

Works well, and I've never had an issue. These adapters are good for the bipods to which they are intended or for some small accessories like lasers or flashlights.

it works great but it is a little bit expensive for what it is and what it is usefull ...

They fitted perfectly on my savage 17hmr. Great quality at an amazing price. I'd buy again, UTG makes affordable good qualiy products.

Does what it is supposed to do attached easily provides a Strong support. Light weight bipod works works great nog issues.
