Battery powered lamp charges quickly and lasts a very long time. Good brightness and easy to operate. Clips onto a table or chair edge or can just stand on top of a table. Adjustable directions and light. Make sure to turn on/off the on switch before tapping the on button. Seems redundant but keeps it from accidentally getting turned on in transit and running out the battery. Works great for crafting and also as an emergency back up light during power outages. Great value!

I bought this because I have a bad habit of falling asleep in my lounger with the overhead light on. I wanted to save on electricity and have a handy way of turning the light off and on. It has everything I want. It is a clamp to clamp onto my desk. Without it, I would need to use an extension cord and stretch it across the room to an outlet. I can put it anywhere I require light. The light dims. It does have three light colors, but that's not something I need. It is a goose neck. I can adjust the position to where I require light. It has a USB recharge cable. The instructions say it can be used while charging, so I'm not concerned how long it takes to charge. It's not large, but the small size fits my needs on my desk. It is sturdy. And is it a great price. If/when this one gives out, I hope it will still be on the market.

I was looking for a led desk lamp to clamp to my lap desk that I use for working on my laptop while in bed, and for journaling. I came across the Colorlife and the logistics seemed to fit the bill. Overall, the light is very bright with three light colors: 1. Daylight, 2. Soft light 3. Mix of Day/Soft light. The brightness is controlled by holding the front button down on the light color you desire and this will dim the light. Touching/holding again will brighten it. Tapping the button will cycle it through the various colors. I say this here because my light did not come with instructions in the box. The clamp is pretty wide and holds with a good grip. However, I noticed that the battery life doesn't last as long as stated. I ran the light after a full charge for no more than 3 - 4 hours in totality, and then it wouldn't turn on. I had to recharge the light after that. I'm curious if this is due to having the overall "power" switch staying on that's located on the backside of the light. This switch has to be in the on position in order to use the "power" button located atop the clamp (again, not sure as there are no instructions). Overall, the lamp works and gets the job done. I'd recommend it, just hope yours comes with instructions.

Very practical. Sturdy and good quality. The clamp holds tight holding the lamp in place. Also has a nice size. Has a flexible arm to position as you like. Definitely recommend. The only thing I’m not too happy with is that I paid 13.99 and the day after I received I saw it went down to 8$

This lamp has one downside: it takes a long time to charge. If I had paid $30-40 for it, I would probably have taken off a star. On the other hand, you can use it while it is charging so a battery pack or an extension cord will take care of that inconvenience. I have mine set up in my indoor hammock chair - a lovely place to read except that it's hard to get light into that cocoon. The clamp fit snugly around the bar over the chair. The gooseneck easily adjusted to keep light right where I need it. I rock and swing in the chair. The lamp stays put. The light is bright enough and can be adjusted. I appreciate the different color of light. I find it easiest to read with warm light. If you need to get a good strong light in an unwieldy spot, this might be just the lamp for you!

I came back to this review to give it less stars, but I had already given it ONE - ZERO is not an option. It is extremely disappointing that this lamp does not hold a charge. I use it once a week at a non-profit where I volunteer for a 3-4 hour period and then switch it off until the next week. The place is only open once a week and where we need the light there are no electrical outlets. I don't want to leave it charging for six days until we return, so this lamp does not do what it claims. I expected after using it for 4 hours and shutting if off, the next week it would have enough power for another 3-4 hours and maybe for another week after that. It claims to have longer running time than four hours. Not happy with it. It's too late past the purchase to return it even though I only used it for about five days at 3 to 4 hours each day. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

It will certainly provide the luminations. I did feel it was smaller than I expected. Maybe I looked at too many items in that category. As a book light, the clamp is a bit cumbersome but the lamp neck is very flexible. The precharge aspect allowed me to see how bright it is and the variations on the lumens when I unpacked it. I have it clamped to a bookcase now to light up those books in a darker area of the room. Rechargeable aspect is good and I taped the cord to the neck so it is easily found when needed. If power goes out I can grope over to get it and light my way!!

Great little light for reading or speaking at podiums
