This is really good and beautiful Magnetic Levitating Product by Kinglev. This product provides a unique touch button that turns on or off the light, it has 4 modes, 1)blue base, 2) red skull, 3) blue base and red skull and 4) no lights. In dark, this product looks very cool. The space between skull and base is more than 0.5 inch and less than 0.75 inch. The base has gloss finish and as a result, they also include a cloth to wipe the base from time to time, they also include guide document which is very through.

First one returned. Did not work. Second one didn't work either.

I got 2 of them and neither worked......well the 1st one floated the skull the very first time I placed it and it was the coolest. . removed floating skull and it never floated again 2nd one floated the first time my son opened and placed it.. he removed the floating skull until I got home and it never floated again I really really wanted to like this item but what's to like if it don't work.... now I am skeptical about purchasing anything that floats a magnet. the concept is very cool ....the design is very cool the fact that it's Chinese garbage that does not work.....very very disappointing and UNCOOL

Okay let me start off by saying that this floating skull is unequivocally awesome and yes you want it because it IS that cool. I mean if you have friends and they see this and don't momentarily fall into utter awe, you probably don't want them as friends. With that said, the awesomeness does come at a price. Don't think for one minute that you will get that feckin' skull to float your first, second, or even third try. IT. IS. FINICKY! I definitely had to stop a few times out of frustration before figuring out the trick to make the skull practically plop right on the magnetic field... What you do is put the whole bottom plate in a freezer for at least 8 hours, take it out and let it sit unplugged for at least 8 more hours, and then you plug it in and you have to kinda come down from above at an angle with the skull and very gently guide it into the spot where you feel it stop fighting the four directions of the lay lines. If it takes more than a minute you probably have to do that whole process again to get the electromagnets to cool down. ALSO make sure that you are putting this levitation device on a SOLID surface/structure that won't shake enough to disturb the levitation as it WILL piss you off that you have to get the skull floating again. Beyond all that I only wish it could do more colors. Otherwise if you are into these types of decor, you want an amazing center/talking piece in a room, a perfect decoration for Halloween, or you just freaking like skulls you absolutely should splurge on this. I will update if anything changes in under a year, but I feel 4 stars is fair as it is ^_^

Live the product got it for my husband for my husband for father's day. He loved it. It was a little hard to get it to levitate right but we got it . Once we did it was amazing.

Looks cool. Should look cooler once I get it set up. Very difficult to set up, as perfect leveling and centering is required. Perhaps a tool of some kind is needed. A plastic disc, slightly smaller then levitation height, with slight indentation for magnet to fit in, would work. This should allow centering, and once achieved, item would rise, allowing tool to be removed. Otherwise, set up is virtually impossible by hand. Maker might consider including such a tool, in future products.

I tried to get this skull to levitate over the span of 3 days trying for about 30 minutes each time (spaced out over time as you aren't supposed to try for more than 5 min at a time). I even tried tips I saw on other reviews to place the base in the freezer. I even had a friend try and nothing. It is simply not worth the time and frustration for me to use this product. I also thought about trying to get it to work again if I ever knocked it off track and that was enough for me to return it. It is such a shame because the product does look very cool and I know would be amazing if it worked, but it did not.

Worth the money. This can be (very) tricky to find the “dead center” point to get it to levitate, but when you find it, it is worth the frustration. Floats about 1 inch off the base and slowly rotates constantly (base must be plugged in with supplied adapter). I’ve had this hovering for a couple weeks straight with no problems and no overheating! Just buy it already!
