It works as intended.
Needed one of these for a long time. I do woodworking so it comes in handy. I don't need it often so a lower priced model was preferred. I would imagine if you're in construction and are going to use it a lot, perhaps a higher priced model will have extra, fancier features you could use. But If you're just looking to find studs and make sure you don't hit live wires, this unit works.

So truth be told I didn't read the instructions and I figured it out enough to find some studs!

Works as advertized
Good product. Works most of the time. I like that i dont have to hold the side button to continue scaning. You press it once and it calibrates and good to go after that. Overall a good stud finder
